Scammers using old school bait and switch tactics from start to finish. I had my vehicle listed for sale and they reached out to me pretending to be a private buyer. Within a couple of days they told me to call some number so their guy could take a look at it over video. I thought it was going to be her husband but it was somebody doing a valuation. He said ok I'll give you an offer in a few days, and then she told me she would be in touch. I told them my absolute rock bottom was 5k under listing and they came in 2k lower than that, saying seats were missing. When I told them I have the seats they're just in storage and asked them to come back up since that was the problem, and that I understood missing seats would have been an $1800 expense, the guy tells me it doesn't matter it still has to be this lower amount. He then explains to me that he has to get paid, the woman who found the vehicle has to get paid, they have to mark the vehicle up so the salesman and owner can all get paid; that's when I found out it was a dealership. I told them I wasn't desperate and needed the weekend to think about the lower offer. They said it was fine cause the bank was closed anyway. On Monday I tried to reach them multiple times to say against my own better judgment, fine, I'll take the lowball bid. No responses. They started telling me their texts weren't going through. Mind you I had 3 calls and 40 other texts that day. No one else had a problem reaching me. It was clear they were trying to delay. When I finally got them on the phone late Tuesday they lowered even further stating the value went down 1k over the weekend. I was done at that point. They are liars. They are scammers. They wouldn't quit calling and were insistent on buying this vehicle until it came time to follow through. I do not like dishonest people and wouldn't do business with them if they offered twice what I was asking.

I just sold my brand new, unused, 2022 Ford Transit van to Trust Auto.

Fair price. Fast, easy, pleasant staff to work with. My lien was paid off and the balance paid to me -both via wire transfer same day as I signed the contract. The whole process only took a few days.

I didn't know Trust Auto at all. Skeptical, I looked them up on the internet and here on BBB and sure enough, they're legit. Honestly, in my 63 years, I've only had one other good experience with a car dealer. I'm impressed and grateful NOT to have had another bad experience.

I'm feeling positive again about car dealers! Shocker, I know ;-)

warning to those interested in working with Trust Auto. They are anything but trustworthy and honest business people. Mark Russo is deceitful and dishonest and his boss, Sandra, even when she was made aware of Mark's dishonestly did not care. Fully story below. I have text correspondence to corroborate all claims but cannot add pics. DO NOT do business with this company if you value honesty. Friday 6/17 Mark contacted me asked about car and for addition info and photos. Asking prices was $13.9k. Advertisement noted that we were moving across country and needed to sell the car. 6/17 - sent text with photos of car convertible top including specifically pointing out with photo and text the crack in window. Sun 6/18 Mark offered $10k but I needed to follow up with a few interested retail buyers. Wed 6/22 confirmed and accepted $10k offer. I communicated that we were moving across the country in early July. Mark said their mechanic would come to see the vehicle on 6/26. Between 6/22 and 6/26 four retail buyers contacted me. I told them the car was sold Sun 6/25- mechanic arrives. After taking with the company he informed me that due to the crack in the back windshield they would only offer $9k. Sun 6/25- texted Mark in the evening saying he put me in a a crappy spot, because I'm just about out of time with our move and given the info and photos he had and the deal we made based on that that info, I really hope he does the right thing here. Mark's response that night: "Yes, we have it still, I'll try to figure out." Mon 6/26- Mark's "boss," Sandra, called to explain the situation, that Mark and informed her of the problem, and based on the cracked windshield they could only offer $9k. Mark had not informed her and she was unaware that I had previously informed Mark and sent pictures of the back windshield. But it didn't matter, even when I offered to send pics of the text conversation. In short, their screw up cost me $1,000

What a great car buying experience. Jason and the Trust team handled everything with aplomb. They even handled my trade in and paid top dollar! I live in Florida, so they arranged to pick up my trade and then ship the beautiful Jaguar XK I purchased. They handled all the paperwork for my Florida registration, arranged financing and made the process of a long distance transaction as easy as could be. I purchased a lexus SUV, for my husband in three days it was at my doorstep in CT. It was a surprise gift to him for our wedding anniversary and over 40yrs of togetherness. Thanks to Brian V******, my sales consultant. It's my first vehicle purchase that was stress free. Brian was awesome. I couldn't have don't it without him. He kept the sales close to his vest so that my husband could be truly surprised. He was very surprised!! Thank you Brian, for an awesome job. I will recommend your Auto shop anytime. People, it doesn't matter where you live, Trust Auto is the place to shop for any vehicle you want.

Best car buying experience. David was super accommodating. I had a number in mind of what I wanted to spend and ended up spending less. Lots of high end quality cars to choose from. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly. No pressure from David to buy the car. Great place to find your next car!
