      05/30/2024 I ordered 150 3x3" plugs. $210.00 later, I received 10 trays of extremely dead sod, not even plugs. The 1/2 inch of dirt on each piece was basically dust. They will not refund or replace. By their guarantee, you have to plant them and waste 45-60 days trying to revive them. Wasted time

      I ordered a load of Zoysia from these guys thinking they were reputable. The sprinkler they sent broke after 4 days. Cheap plastic garbage. I asked for a refund, and they REFUSED!!! They guy was VERY rude and dismissive. I regret using these clowns!!! NEVER again. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

      We did not refuse to give the customer a credit.  We asked him to return the broken sprinkler and then we would give him a refund.  He refused to box it up and send it back saying we should send a call tag.  The cost of the sprinkler was $24.95 which I am now giving him a credit for, sight unseen, just to resolve the matter.  The total order/shipment included grass, fertilizer, a planting tool and the sprinkler for $432.00.

      I am 76 years old and paid almost $1,000.00 to have my yard prepared as directed to plant Zoysia seed I ordered from this BIG-TIME company Zoysia Farm Nurseries on 06/23/2021. I watered the yard the newly planted seed twice a day for 15 min. as was instructed by their customer service representative. After 3 weeks I saw no sign of growth and called the company, and again followed her directions. NOT ONE SEED CAME UP! I disputed the charge with my charge card and THEY wrote and now I am being charged. This is what I will write in a complaint towards your company because I swear before God it is the truth. You must be a mighty small business if you can't afford to lose $94.50 from a 76 year old woman living on Social Security after working 60 years! Additionally as a former BBB representative (***********************************************, their company also misleads consumers because of the guarantee they offer. Only in their rebuttal ****************** A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER

      Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/08/23) */ Our guarantee for this product is stated on our website and states: Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not satisfied with any item on this page, return the item within 30 days of receipt to receive a refund of the purchase price of the item (excluding shipping). Items must be returned (at customer's expense) in new, unused and resalable condition, in the original packaging to obtain a refund. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of a valid return. The product has not been returned and we therefore cannot issue a refund. Regarding the customer's additional comments regarding previous purchases of plugs, I cannot find any record of previous purchases for this customer. Our guarantee for plugs is to replace any that fail to produce new green shoots 45 - 60 days after planting. However, if the customer did not contact us within a year of receipt, we can only assume the plantings were successful. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/08/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I cannot return the 2 pounds of seed I ordered from these people as the know because it was planted into the dirt and lays DEAD in the dirt! Such fools! It didn't come up which is the reason I am filing this complaint. I have no guarantee that it was even Zoysia seed. It might as well been sesame seeds they sent me. I sent pictures of my ground with no grass coming up after 5 weeks! Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/08/25) */ We shipped the customer Zenith Zoysia seed in a bag sealed by our supplier. The bag states it is 98+% zoysia seed and the balance is inert matter and weed seeds. The guarantee on the bag and planting instructions included with the shipment is to the purity of the seed and is not guaranteed for "performance or suitability, and make no further warranty, express or implied." If the customer inquired when placing the order, or even after receipt (prior to planting), we would have advised that this product is not covered by our plug replacement guarantee. We can't second guess the seedbed preparation or planting methods, but based on what the customer has written, it could be that the seed dried out prior to germination. The instructions state: "Keep the seedbed constantly moist for two to three weeks after planting, until seedlings are established - multiple waterings daily may be necessary during hot, sunny weather." It is possible that the twice daily watering did not keep the seeds sufficiently moist to allow for germination. We shipped the product the customer ordered in good faith and we are sorry this project was not successful for the customer, but we are unable to issue a refund for product that has been used.
