            BBB unable to locate business
            They came to replace my roof in 10/18. My contract says, 5 year warranty on workmanship, 30 year manufacturers warranty. When they finished I saw some tiles that were sticking up. They assured me that the sun would lay them down. Fast forward to 2021. I noticed that the corner had started to flap in the breeze. I kept watching it. At the end of 2021 we had snow and the some of the shingles fell off and I could see part of the underlay. Early in 2022 we had a very strong wind storm. The wind got under the loose part and took the corner all the way up. I called Fitzhugh and was told that the warranty did not include acts of God. This corner came apart before any storm. I have date and time stamped pics as well as the original contract.

            Fitzhugh Roofing came to give me a roof in the summer of 2018. The price was right and they had a 5 year warranty on workmanship. When they were done I noticed a corner that didn’t look quite right, was raised a little. They assured me that the sun would lay it down. Well, in Oct/21 it started to flap and when it snowed this year I lost shingles. The wind came a couple of wks ago and the entire edge of the corner flapped up. I called them to come fix and they told me that it doesn’t fall under their warranty because it was pulled up by wind so it was an act of God. If it was nailed properly it would never have come up. My 40 yr old roof never had this issue at all. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORD…AT ALL!!??
