I purchased 2 dining room chairs on 5/29/2021 from TheDinetteStore in the amount of $956. There were 2 chairs with defects. Backs were ordered to replace the backs. I wanted a whole new chair, but he insisted he would do a replacement of the back only. It took 5 mos. The back of one chair had play in the back and side to side movement. At first, I thought it was the chair not level but that was not the problem. The back was replaced at the store and that could be the problem as it is a partial replacement. I wanted a new chair and not back replacements. I bought the issue to Lou ***** the owner. I had to bring the chair to the store. He had the screws tightened but the problem was still there. It still had play in the back, The back is not strong as the other chairs as they were straight from the manufacturer. Lou keeps stating the chair is level and I explained it's the back I am concerned about and not the level. I wanted him to come out and show him, but he said the chair is level solid like a rock. I couldn't get him to understand it is the back play and NOT the level of the chair. I called him to see if I can get a new chair replacement or a refund for all this trouble. and he said he is done with this.
