      ordered restroom partitions from this company. They dropped off the 700lb pallet in the parking lot. The driver asked me to sign the delivery form so he can take off. I told him I needed to wait for someone to come help me take the boxes inside and he told me to sign the form and contact the supplier if I had any issues. When I took all the boxes inside, I noticed that many of the parts were badly damaged. I contacted harbor city supply and Clint informed me that it's my fault for not checking before the driver left. I informed him that we couldn't take the 10ft 700lb pallet through the door and that it was sitting in the parking lot so I couldn't take apart the pallet and check all the boxes on the spot. Clint proceeded to inform me that it is not their responsibility, even though they are the manufacturer and the one who sent it through this freight company. He said he can replace all the damaged parts but I would have to pay full price. They are trying to charge double for their failure in sending quality products. Do not shop with this company.

      Mr **** I am sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with us, and I have reviewed your case with Clint. Unfortunately, you signed and accepted the shipment at the time of delivery without inspecting the items. As it clearly states in our partitions procedures document which you signed, as well as the freight company's paperwork at the time of delivery, a signature indicates that you accept the shipment in the condition it is delivered. Also, when we asked for pictures, you were unable to provide any pictures of the packaging being damaged which is typically what the freight company will ask for. Since these products were shipped directly from the manufacturer (not HarborCitySupply), we reached out to them to file a freight claim. The manufacturer informed us that upon signature, it becomes the responsibility of the receiver in the freight company's policy. Clint informed you that you would be able to make a claim with the freight company to be reimbursed for those damaged items, and we offered you replacement items at our cost. We unfortunately have no sway with the freight company since you are the one who signed for the items, and we hoped the greatly discounted products would show our apologies and help complete your project while you waited for the claim to be sorted. I would be more than happy to discuss this with you further so we could reach an agreeable solution, please call Ben 800-260-0907.
