August 7, 2021 2 men came in our driveway in a CarteDuJour Food Van very nice ( good at what they do) when showed a box of Cod I ask what the price was ( here I should have ended the conversation) the man ask if I shopped weekly, monthly I said weekly then he asked how much I spent he takes that x 52 weeks, talking very fast jotting down numbers on a pad which you couldn't really see saying I can cut that in half sounded good as I thought he was talking hundreds as it turned out at the end when handed the bill it was in the thousands. We were shocked as Seniors we don't think as quickly as we once did. We got a Box of Cod 7 in box, Orange Roughy 6 in box, Ground Turkey 10 1 pound packs, Lemon Pepper Chicken Breast 13 in box, Turkey Breast Cutlets 4 ounce 14 in box, Pork Chop Loin Porterhouse Cut 10 ounce 8 in box, Box of Peas 4 in box, Box of Corn 4 in Box, Box of Broccoli 4 in Box. All Vacuumed, Organic, packed in their own box and for that we Seniors paid this Company $2,750.00 (As I said very good at what they do) Lesson Learned. Beware of this Company. I sent this Company email telling them what I thought and telling them also Do Not Return To Our Property. As they said we will be back in December

I have been attempting to contact this customer by phone so I could possibly help her understand how our program works. Food prices have skyrocketed across our country during this horrible pandemic, and the distributors of the food that we purchase have increased their prices dramatically. We purchase the VERY BEST products and the most healthy for our customers, but we pay a premium price for the food. Of course, we cannot sell our food for LESS than what we purchase it for. It is also unfortunate that the customer posted the same review in 3 different areas immediately after the purchase and my thought is that she probably did not yet have an opportunity to taste the food. It is the BEST any where and our customers love it because it doesn't lay HEAVY on your stomach after eating it. The customers we have had for YEARS will not purchase anything else. We will gladly bring her some additional food if she feels she didn't get enough for her money and we will take the loss from our own pocket to make her happy, but all the statements have given a complete block of communication for allowing us to try to make it right for her or to come back ever. I do wish her the best and hope she enjoys the food. I had RATHER that she allow us to make this right for her. We NEVER want to have an unhappy customer.
