Need to make sure you look at all your paperwork because they charged me for more than the sticker price on my pickup that I purchased from them. When I realized it after I received my paperwork in the mail, I left a review about that and a check they promised to cut me for the delivery driver making a mess in the pickup during delivery. The sales manager called me and asked what they could do for me to give them an 5 star rating because his head was in a platter.I told him about the price discrepancy I found and. that I should have caught it before all the paperwork was signed, but here I am now just now figuring it all out and he said that he would Venmo me the $300 and when their systems were back up, they had had the *** attack shortly after I bought my truck, then he would have the finance manager call me and go over everything and that if there was a discrepancy then they would cut me a check. He just asked that I give him a 5 star review after he *****'s me the money because he needed it before the end of the month was up last month. So I told him I would and not to forget to follow up and I have not heard back from them since and that was **** 29th.Their communication and follow up really need to get worked on. They really should not tell a customer they will do something and not follow through with it. I find them very untrustworthy and I would not purchase another vehicle from them again. I warn you to really look at the totals they are throwing down on paper. I was told that certain things would look a certain way but it wasn't actually the cost but when I comb through it I found that they listed my pickup for the price of the sticker and did not give the dealership incentives I was supposed to receive, I had asked for a breakdown to be emailed to me before paperwork processing and when I compared the two the math did not add up.Review from Kevin G

Stay away from Lindsay Automotive in Wheaton We found a used car on their website we liked. We drove from ******** to see the car. We agreed with the salesman to pay the advertised price. When the dealership brought the cost sheet to us, they added $1,995 to the price of the car ??.The salesman said they do this all the time. ??The sales manager came over to lame-ass explain and stated that they have more into the car than the advertised price.I told him it was a ******** business practice, and we left do not shop at Lindsay !!Lindsay Ford of Wheaton Response

On Tuesday April 4th. I looked at a used 2022 Ford F150. Their advertised price was $38000. After the test drive we sat down to discuss the total cost of the truck. They added a mandatory 90 day "certified used warranty" for $1999. Then they said we must use their 60 month financing even though I wanted to pay cash. We walked out of this car dealer. This cant be legal. They advertise a low initial price then try to supplement it with their rip off 90 day warranty that other Ford dealers give for free and then further increase their profits by forcing the buyer to use their financing. Be aware!!!Lindsay Ford of Wheaton Response

Mr. Clifford, we do offer warranty coverages on our vehicles should you want them. And the CPO programs often have incentive rates and coverages. Something got lost in translation. All coverages are optional.Review from Sandra A

On 4/30/2022 my partner and I decided to purchase a 2022 Ford F150. The sales person Juan was great no complaints. Once we moved on to the finance department the finance manager FORCED me to purchase additional services with the incentive of getting a lower APR. I am sure if I had said no, he would have pushed me with a lender with a higher APR. This in my opinion is bad business practice. In early September I decided to call them to help me cancel the service agreements. It took a few calls and messages left for the finance department before I could have an answer on how I needed to proceed. I was informed myself and my partner needed to come in person to sign the cancellation form. I made time to come over and to my surprise the sales person told me that was NOT necessary and instead he handed me the cancellation sheet and asked me to fill it out and forward it to him. I did within a couple of days. The forms were sent by email on 9/28/2022. I called **** (service provider) and they informed me that no forms have been received.Review from Arth D

Lindsay Ford Wheaton took advantage of my limited English and my experience was insane. More crucially, at the time of sale, representatives did not disclose that two (manufacturer and Ford Protect Premium Care) warranties were already attached to the car by Ford National. This projected the false appearance, convenient for Lindsay Ford Wheaton, that additional warranties would not be overwhelmingly redundant. Over $5,000 dollars of redundant warranties were added to the final invoice in the final moment without prior verbal disclosure of the cost. At least two forms of PowerTrain protection were overwhelmingly redundant. Two forms of Service protection were overwhelmingly redundant, and multiple roadside assistance coverages were redundant. The time frames of the warrantees were overwhelmingly redundant. For example, Fidelity reported that their warrantee (approximately $2000), added to the bill by Lindsay, would essentially cover a supplement of little more than eight oil changes. The redundancies were confirmed by contacting warranty affiliate Fidelity in Florida, Ford National, your Ford Protect, and Lindsay Ford Wheaton and by review of the extensive website Ford Protect. We are specifically concerned about the loan interest. Although warrantees were cancelled after enormous hassle, loan interest was calculated and based on the loan total. Over time, that interest is extremely costly. We are aware that warranty management information has been in the hands of at least three offices (Ford National main office, Ford Protect, Ford Local (Lindsay), and the Fidelity affiliate). By design, this presents obstacles to second-language English customers and other vulnerable customers who seek transparency and truth recovery as to warrantee coverage managed by the different offices. How many other customers, whose English is limited, were also subject to the same bad faith practices?Review from Brian M

Dealership would not honoring signed purchase order in March and added a $6,000 mark-up fee vehicle. They noted they deserve to make money off the car as well.Review from Richard

I originally wrote a similar review a few months ago, but took it down hoping the situation was resolved. The situation was not resolved so I am putting the review back up. I went to sell my leased vehicle to CarMax in May 2021, expecting to make $2500 based on the price CarMax was offering me and the price Ford quoted me for the payoff. After selling my vehicle to CarMax, Ford demanded an extra $6000 for the sale of the vehicle. I went back and forth between Ford Credit and Lindsay Ford, and each blamed the other for this extra and discretionary $6000 charge. After doing some further digging with other dealerships, and having a family member sell their Ford vehicle leased through a different dealership, I have concluded that Lindsay Ford added the charge and lied to me repeatedly to my face about it. I also consulted a friend who owns a Ford dealership in another state, and he confirmed this to me as well. I do not think Ford Credit is totally blameless in the situation either. I explained to the representatives at Ford credit that I was selling my lease to CarMax, and Ford Credit never mentioned the payoff price Ford quoted me would be different if the sale was to a third-party. After thoroughly reviewing my lease with Lindsay Ford, nowhere does the lease mention that anything about sales to third-parties, or that Lindsay could charge whatever they want if you chose to sell your lease to a third-party. I don’t believe what Lindsay did was legal, but I want everyone to know how Lindsay Ford does business. I personally will never buy or lease a Ford again, nor would I ever do business with Lindsay Ford, or any other Lindsay property. Their practices are deceptive and the employees are deceptive, incompetent or both. The consultants at Ford Credit are just as clueless. I have already contacted the BBB about Lindsay Ford, and I hope that this review will save others of having to go through the headache of dealing with Lindsay Ford and Ford Credit.Lindsay Ford of Wheaton Response

Good Morning, Mr. Flannery was confused I have a copy of the amount that Ford requested us to pay. Lindsay Ford did not charge more money to make a profit. I have all of the documents to prove we didn't charge more. Thanks
