On June 1, 2022 we had a new air conditioner unit install by Tom McKenney from TGM Air Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing. We paid him $5,600. He installed a Goodman Air unit. We got a warranty from Goodman for parts but not services. Our air conditioner worked for a day after that, but then stopped. He came, tried to fix it, but nothing changed. He sent someone else and the guy said that Tom did not put in enough freon, so Tom came back and put in more freon and told us that the only other thing to do was clean the vents. We called a professional vent cleaner who said cleaning the vents is not going to change anything except make the air cleaner. He checked the AC unit and said that there is either not enough freon or there is a leak, because it's not cold enough at all. We tried calling Tom again, but he did not answer. We called him once a day for over a week. On the third day, he texted "out of town" and then did not answer any more calls. Finally, on August 3, he offered to settle, but ignored the following text messages. On August 4, he said he would send someone on Friday but didn't specify which friday. That is where we are up to now.
