On December 15th 2023 the Ameritree company was cutting down my neighbor’s tree at **** ********* ***** ********** ** ****** During the removal the tree fell onto my property damaging my fence and cutting my ******* Cable wire. I notified the workers on site and they assured me that they would reach out to me for repairs. I was never contacted which I reached out more that 3 separate times over the last month and a half with no repairs scheduled. I also had no internet service for more than a week which Xfinity had to reach out to the company for repair compensation.Initial Complaint

Hired by my next door neighbor. They came onto my property and cut a whole side off of my 30 year old maple without my permission. I wrote a letter to the owner with no results.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/03) */ On Tuesday, September 20th Ameritree Experts came out to trim a tree as contracted by the homeowner. We cut only up to the property line which is within the homeowner's legal right. We are also obligated to trim any shared tree in a way that maintains the health and integrity of the tree, which we did. We did not need to go onto Ms. *******'s property to do the work at her neighbor's home. A representative for our company has spoken to Ms. ******* and stated the same. She also asked for a quote for her side of the tree. We apologize that the homeowner is not happy with the tree, unfortunately that is an issue between the homeowners/neighbors. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/11/03) */ The response was a bald-faced lie. They cut all the limbs off my tree at the trunk. How could they climb 25 feet without being on my property. I wrote the owner a snail mail letter with on response. Buyer Beware. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2022/11/18) */ Again, we are sorry this homeowner feels this way but the neighbor who contracted us can confirm that we did not go onto her property. This homeowner was not upset after we completed the work initially, as stated before she had asked us for an estimate also. As always, we followed the law and worked according to the MD tree care removal and regulation standards. Although we have sent representatives out to confirm the tree was trimmed properly, we can let her know that if the health of the tree were to decline in the next year due to our methods, we will take responsibility. We take trespassing very seriously and deny those claims fully.
