**** charged me $3200 for work completed on my truck. He was supposed to replace my cab mount bushings, a couple crossmembers and fix the back portion of my frame. He was also supposed to install a 5th wheel hitch, diagnose my 4wd issues and undercoat my frame. Once I got my truck back, i realized all he did was replace bolts in the cab mounts but didnt replace any of the bushings. He also cut off the back portion of my frame and just **** welded on new steel with no structural gussets or anything. He knows I want to haul a lot of weight with this truck as its a 3/4 ton diesel pickup. He kept forgetting what he was supposed to do to it for work and he had my truck for over 2 months. He also damaged my bed that was just replaced and color matched from ***** last year. When trying to confront him about the work, he just wont respond. Hes ignoring me. He initially wanted $4000 and when I picked up the truck, I saw he didnt support the frame repair so I told him I wasnt paying that much for work that hadnt been complete. I only gave him the $3200 to try and be done with it but that was under the assumption he did everything else correctly. He didnt replace cab mount bushings, didnt diagnose 4wd, didnt complete frame repair in a safe manor, the 5th wheel hitch installation isnt correct according to manufacturer specs and only undercoated what he felt like doing. On top of all that, my truck had more miles on it when I picked it up than when I dropped it off and it was also lower on fuel as I filled it on my way to his shop in November. Fuel light was on when I picked it up. Now my truck is losing coolant but it isnt visible. I fear its a head gasket which is very costly in a diesel. Somebody I know told me they saw him driving it around and beating on it, now I have this issue. Unsure of exactly how much he drove it but I know he did. I expected him to be professional so didnt snap pic of mileage. Dropped it off 11/13/22 and got it back 1/16/23.
