I bought a German Shepherd dog from Lebenshunger in June 2022. I’m 72 years old and I think I bit off more than I can chew. She’s a lot of dog for a senior citizen. I wanted to give my dog to my sister who has two German Shepherd dogs already and the owner, Kevin threaten to sue me right off the bat if I did, I was surprised at his quick response and then unprofessionalism. He wanted me to give the dog back to him, preferably unspayed so that he could either breed her or resell her. That’s not gonna happen. I paid $4000 for that dog. The owner kept throwing a contract in my face but under the circumstances I’m too old to handle this beautiful German Shepherd. I would never buy another dog from him nor can I recommend them.

When **** purchased his German Shepherd from me, he signed a contract which I went over with him very carefully. The following is the exact clause of the contract which **** read, initialed and agreed to: "A. Lebenshunger German Shepherds reserves first right of ownership of the dog (free of charge) if the owner intends to sell or transfer ownership to another party. All relevant registration should be transferred back to the the breeder in this event. " Yes, I do insist that **** abide by the terms of the contract and I will employ the full measure of the courts to enforce the contract if he should fail to abide by the contract as he agreed to when he purchased the dog. His understanding was as clear then as it is now.Review from Connie H

Kevin and Patti are fantastic business owners with a keen investment in their German Shepards, it not just a business to them but rather a family life they have come to love. They breed only the best and take great pride in making sure these wonderful animals are well placed and cared for! We brought 8 week old Zara Grace home with us just over 4 years ago. She has been an amazing addition to our family, is my emotional support & we SO appreciate Lebenshunger for this beauty. We get so many compliments on her. Kevin & Patti make sure to match dogs with the needs of their human parents. They're responsible breeders, which in this day & age of puppy mills, is so very important. Both Kevin & Patti make themselves available for any questions or concerns you have. We could not be happier with our decision to bring a puppy home from Lebenshunger. First, our new girl is absolutely beautiful and we receive tons of compliments regarding her looks, her intelligence and quick learning, and her temperament. They have high standards, and it shows. Truly the best of the best in terms of breeders. Additionally, Lebenshunger was incredibly patient and helpful with any questions we had both before bringing our puppy home, and even after when we were adjusting to being new puppy parents. Adding a Lebenshunger GSD was the best thing that I could have done.The owners, ***** and ***** were very informative when I was initially inquiring. No question was left unanswered and I had many. Atticus is a beautiful, good natured GSD. He constantly gets compliments on his looks. Show dog quality! I highly recommend checking on available Lebenshunger GSDs when you want to add a faithful, intelligent and fabulous addition to your family. You will not be disappointed!Review from Beverly B

There are so many wonderful things to say about this breeder and their puppies/Shepards! Our boy is 8 months old, and he is the BEST. We own a small business in ** and he is with us every day. We made the best decision ever to bring home our Lebenshunger pup! Two years later, we continue to be impressed with the kindness, resourcefulness, and integrity of kennel owners ***** and *****, and it is a joy to be part of their extended family of German Shepherd lovers. I cannot give enough praise to Lebenshunger German Shepherds! The owners have created one large family with all of their costumers, as we all have one thing in commmon our love for German Shepherd dogs! And they breed the best! Our dog is sweet natured, loyal, smart and absolutely gorgeous because the breeders take pride in what they do. They were there for me and my pup every step of the way.Review from Amy P

This is an absolutely amazing breeder! They are kind and very passionate about their dogs. They were readily available to answer any questions we had before and after we brought her home. Their pups are also incredible. I could not be happier with our puppy. She is a huge love bug, very smart, and very gentle. We also are always complimented on how beautiful our Shepherd is everywhere we go.
