I contracted *********************************** of Parker and Sons Roofing to paint my house. I paid him $6745.00 in the spring of 2022. He never picked up a paint brush and he won't refund my money. He gave me excuses and ridiculous lies. He took my money and blew it. He never even bought the paint. Finally in October of 2022 I told him I wanted a refund. He then changed the date on the contract which was on an online invoice website that I thought was non editable. I was contacted by other homeowners who said he did the same thing or worse to them. He recently changed his company name yet again.Customer response

I payed Parker and Sons $3,500 on 11/20/21 with the understanding that the money was to procure building supplies such as kitchen cabinets, sink, flooring and counter top. After a prolonged period of unanswered text messages and phone calls, a start date of 2/8/22 was agreed upon. It is my suspicion that ****** did not use any of my down payment to purchase materials. We had to change the flooring because he went to buy it the day of installation and it was discontinued, but would have been available if hed bought it in November when I paid him. The sink I wanted was also not purchased, so when he went to get it, it was back ordered. Again, there would have been plenty of time to get it in if it was ordered when it should have been. We went 20 days with no kitchen sink.****** never double checked measurements or the products he picked up from Lowes or *********** This lead to 5 cabinets being ordered incorrectly or not at all. The kitchen only has 11 cabinet units, including the sink base, so thats a pretty terrible percentage. One cabinet was supposed to be 18 inches tall and he ordered and installed a 12 inch unit. Another cabinet was supposed to be 30 inches wide, and he ordered and installed a 36 inch wide unit so the fridge didnt fit anymore. Another unit was listed as 21 inches wide on the blueprint and an 18 inch with a gap filler was installed. The 9 inch base cabinet was never ordered at all, and the corner base unit was ordered and installed 2 inches too short, which also lead to him cutting the counter top 2 inches too short. The final blow was dealt 2/15/22 when ****** came to install the replacement corner base unit. I was at work, my husband was home, and I left a $1,000 check for when the work was done. When I got home, I immediately noticed the new cabinet was a different style, different brand, different wood grain and different height than the rest of the kitchen. There is no way ****** didnt notice this upon installation.
