September 2, 2023, Contacted ******************* regarding putting in to roll-out shelving and electrical outlets in my home. September 4th, ************** came to my home and gave me a quote of $750.00, and would give me a date once the rollouts were ordered. I have him a check, #***, for $250 toward the job. He would not commit without a deposit. He wrote me a receipt (attached).September 10th, I asked ************ to revise his quote, as I could not figure out what to order for rollouts. I told him I would have to get someone to help me, and to REVISE HIS QUOTE ACCORDINGLY to include ONLY THE ELECTRICAL.September 12th I had heard nothing from ************. I texted him and told him that if he was going to charge me $800c for ELECTRICAL ONLY, then I needed him to take care of it. His price was extremely high for just electrical.On September 13th, He promised to be at my home on October 7th at 9 AM.September 27th, he texted saying that he would have to reschedule as he was having truck problems. I was NOT happy, as he had been difficult from the beginning.October 7th, ************ was a no-show. He texted me early that morning (prior to 6 AM...before I was even out of bed), stating that he was not coming....at all.I told him to return my $250.To date, I have not received any money from ************. He cited "did not have the time," "the check would be in the mail," etc, etc.I do not believe that he intends to refund my money; I am unsure as to whether his intentions were to do the job at all.It has been almost 6 weeks, with me doing most of the "asking."I am requesting your assistance in obtaining my original deposit from ********************Thank you.
