    On June 10, 2021 we purchased a Maytag dishwasher (Model #MDB4949SKW0, Serial #********** for $621.40 from ******************************* *************) at ************ in **************, ME . Several months later, we began having a problem with the machine shutting off and flashing a code "F9E1" - Dishwasher will not drain. They sent a repairman and he replaced the pump.In late April 2022 we experienced the same problem. We contacted the repair department ************* Option #2) to get it fixed. "*****" informed us that there was an issue, and that Maytag had denied their claim for the pump replacement because our dishwasher had been "scrapped". We were told that WE had to contact Maytag directly to get an explanation and/or claim number.On May 2, 2022 we called Maytag ***************) and spoke with Ianna (** ****. She told ** that their records show that our dishwasher was indeed showing as scrapped on her end but that no one seems to know why or when. She started a claim on our behalf and submitted a form. She said that Maytag would review why/when it was scrapped, clear up any mix up so it could be repaired, and send us an email explanation in 2-5 days. Well that never happened.On May 12, 2022 we called Maytag again and spoke with Conya (MS **** and requested an update on the claim that had been submitted by Ianna because we needed to get it repaired. She told us to check our spam folder for the email. Well, it wasn't there. She told us that she didn't know what happened and was resending the claim form. She apologized and told us that Maytag does not issue claim numbers. She said we should receive an email. Well, that never happened either.On June 1, 2022 I spoke with ***** at ******************** She said she'd send an email to her supervisor and call us with an update or "plan for next steps". On June 14th I left ***** a voicemail requesting the status. Well, we still have not heard from her.There seems to be something shady going on. HELP!
