On 4/30/18 I purchased a new E85 mini-excavator and watched 11 appendages literally fall off the machine for the first six weeks as I demanded a replacement. Jordan Equipment owner laughed and proceeded not honor any aspect of a signed warrantee contract. the machine no longer functions and just a month ago that machine was still covered by ******* Implied Warrantee Law. Just last fall the 24 foot boom came loose and while it was free swinging and could have killed somebody, it poked a 3/8 inch hole in the fuel tank. Now it's not my fault the boom came loose but despite their learning about the boom and the hole, no service was performed by the dealership, This fall, actually one month away will be an entire year that Jordan has ignored that hole in the tank.Business response

When the machine was first purchased there were a few warranty issues that we had to resolve which we took care of at his home over an hour and a half away. The "appendages falling off" I believe refers to the track segment bolts loosening up which was one of the warranty issues we took care of due to the undercarriage being painted before assembly, the cure was to remove each bolt and grind off the paint and then reinstall the bolts which cured the problem. I don't recall laughing at him and certainly don't make a practice of laughing at customers. I don't recall the exact timing but the customer expressed a lack of faith in his machine so we offered him extended warranty free of charge to which he never responded to. I'm confident he received the paperwork because it was left on the seat of his enclosed cab machine. The manager in ****** has called several times to have a conversation with the customer recently but his home phone was not answered and doesn't have a voice mail, his cell phone was called several times as well and not answered which doesn't have voicemail set up either. The last time the manager in Hermon spoke with him we were told he wouldn't pay to have service travel to his home so he was told to transport the machine to our shop for service work. We received the replacement fuel tank for his machine back in October of ************************* stock so if the customer would like work done to his machine he can transport it to Hermon and we'll be more than happy to replace the fuel tank and fix anything else he desires after he signs an estimate for work needed and provides a credit card for billing. Without seeing the machine to analyze why the pin holding the boom in place came out it's hard to know for sure but this is something that typically happens due to not greasing the pin.Customer response
