On May 23, 2023 my husband was in an accident. We brought the truck to Farmington Ford to be repaired at the Autobody Shop. At first, the process seemed to be smooth. There was a lack of communication and incompetence. It took 6 months for the truck to be finished. We picked it up 2 weeks ago and when we got the truck home my husband noted that the door was crooked and the driver-side window did not work properly. We took it back and the components within the door did not work. This should have been checked before we picked the truck up as it was supposed to be a brand new door. The manager **** - said that he told my husband that the window did not work when we originally picked up the truck., which is a bold-faced lie, as I was with him when we picked the truck up and he did not even talk with us. Now we do not know when the truck will be repaired, as they did not check this when they said the repair was complete. It has been 1 thing after another. Different people were managing this repair. Too many hands in the pot. Poor communication and poor workmanship! I want this truck repaired ASAP in 100% pre-collision condition as it was a Brand new vehicle.

2017 **** Explorer platinum went in for a sticker. FF claimed it would be just shy of $5000. Needed an alternator, rear breaks and control arms with bushings and sensor as the check engine light was on. My daughter drives this car as she is a student in the town and I was real skeptical with the pricing as this is a 17 with low miles. I had the car towed to ************** where I typically have the care serviced, but because the Explorer was in Farmington I figured why not Farmington Ford. Glad I had it towed to ****. I have been a customer with them for years and they said the following:Alternator is fine Breaks are fine Control arms are fine, just needed bushings And a sticker is now on the car Total bill with labor= $1300 If you are a parent who gives your kiddo a nice ride and they go off to college and the car needs to be serviced, be **** careful as there are repair shops who will try to s**** you over. I simply saved $3700 because I was no idiot and knew this guy was s******* me over! (-ack).Maybe they are a decent repair shop, but I will never step foot in that place ever again. I wanted to share my experience for anyone who may go through the same thing. I am stunned that they attempted to take advantage like this and if this is a common practice by them. $3700 happier!
