On or around the second week in April I contacted lake region energy Regarding the replacement of a water heater. I received a quote And questioned a few of the items including a miscellaneous charge for $350 as well as electrical items as the wiring was already in place. I was told that's just in case we run into unexpected problems and they wouldn't know if they needed wiring until they actually came out. After the install I received a statement balance reflecting the full amount of the quote but no final bill. I contacted them about a final bill as well as voicing my concern about one tech being so ill he could bare!y stand and I felt that a 12 hour labor charge waz a little excessive considering one man did 90% of the work in about 4.5 hours. So. When the service manager finally reached out, she said she would find the paperwork and put together an itemized bill for me. I received the final bill, and it was actually very close to the quote, with one exception. She deducted 3.5 hours labor, but increased my labor rate from $99 to $149 HR. for the remainder. After 10+ years as a dodge oil customer I am to say the least disappointed.Customer response

We did reach out to ****** and are reaching out to her to resolve the issue. She was very frustrated. We had given her a credit on her service and she was very happy with that and was very glad we had reached out to her. I also emailed ****** and let her know if she would email BBB to close the complaint. She did say in the conversation that she was going to reach out to respond to the complaint.Initial Complaint

1.04/14/2022 date of transction 2. 0 amount paid 3. K-1 heating fuel 4. $623.00 amount of dispute 5. I ordered $828.00 in fuel assistance that was left Dodge oil put the $828.00 and an extra $329.47 then Dodge oil sent me a **** for $1,125.08 I received the **** 05/16/2022 then on 06/16/2022I received another **** from dodge oil in the amount of $623.00 I looked all my k/1 receipts from dodge oil and did a spread sheet with all the fuel assistance receipts it shows that they owe me $518.06 in fuel assistance. I have called dodge to resolve the issue and the customer service is a joke.6. no they keep changing the amount even after I sent them my spread sheet. Dear ****************, thank you for sharing your feedback. As we have explained to you, our company was acquired by a new owner on October 19, 2021, which means that Fuel Assistance required us to return any funds that were unused by our customersfunds that would be reissued later. Two batches of Fuel Assistance including a credit in the amount of $1134 (issued to you on 9/16/21) and $56.42 (an unused fuel credit from a previous assistance payment) were returned to Fuel Assistance during our companys transition period, then were reissued to you on 11/4/21.We went through the entire account after hearing from you to confirm that we had processed everything correctly. We did find an error which was correct and which is why the amount changed. See attached. All of this information can be verified with Fuel Assistance. We have tried to come to an agreement with you on handling the balance but we have not as of yet. We try our best to communicate and help our customers understand whats happening with their accounts and we are very sorry if we have not done that to your satisfaction. *********************** General Manager.Customer response

I disagree I have paper work from fuel assistance saying that I received the ***** on 9/16/22 and on 11/4/22 i got another *****. and ***** this is extra that Fuel assistance had money left over so the dispersed to all the people that has been approved for fuel assistance. And if they did send back money, they should have known it because if I would have known I had no fuel assistance I would never ordered oil from dodge at **** a gallon when pit stop was **** a gallon when I pay for my oil I shop around for the best price seeing how expensive K-1 is right now I told them that if I had to pay the ****** I would but I don't feel responsible for there mistake on the 828. that dodge oil they said I had left.

Please check with Fuel Assistance to verify the money that was send back to them. As far as the overage goes, we have offered to lower the price, give you longer to pay. We also were going to pump it out and was threated by a male at that house. We have tried our best to work with you to no avail. When I called the first time, I was told that she had to talk with a supervisor and when you called me back saying I didn't have the $ 828 left in fuel assistance and said you were coming to take back all my K-1 except 50 gallons. I was never told that I was given the option for lower the price, and give me longer to pay. I do believe I Owe the $329.47 and only that and what was the deal you offered me. Then you said I owed the ******** I knew that i didn't owe that so we said we would put a lock on my tank you told me that you would cut the lock off and we said to bring a cop so we could show him the ticket so you wouldn't take more than what was owed. you were never threatened and we were right because now you say we owe $623 we think your mistake shouldn't be our fault. we are willing to try to work this out. we believe that the $329.47 on the ticket Is a legal binding receipt for this transaction. thank you ******* bayley
