Since Sept 2021 and before, we have a string of emails and texts outlining warranty items of our garage workshop and defective carpet issue. We have been strung along with excuses and lack of follow through as they "search" for receipts that prove to ********** or Lowes that this vendor purchased the product from them. Bottom line, we have receipts and proof we paid Ron Bragg Carpentry. For less than $700 of carpet install he has drug his feet to replace. In addition the faulty install of fascade on the workshop that blew off and has yet to be fixed. We expect an immediate repair to the worshop and replacement of carpet for our basemet.Business response

I have had a several conversations with the customer regarding this issue. I specifically told them while we were doing work in there area, we would take care of the metal fascia. I also told them that the carpet was a very inexpensive carpet and is very difficult to get a good seam. The carpet frayed two years after install. I am currently working with Lowes to get the carpet manufacturer to review the carpet to see if it will be covered under warranty.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
The facia complaint was resolved however the carpet is unresolved.
The carpet at time of INSTALL was indeed recorded and emials/text I have proof of his lie that its inexpensive carpet with seamas tha tdon't match up. He provided a faulty product and/or install and was aware that he came out to fix, where it did not work and I notified him as well immediately.
This situation is only partially resolved.
Thanks for keeping this open or re-opening is it not resolved.

We installed the carpet which is a very inexpensive carpet with a low pile which is very difficult to get a good seam. Two years after we installed the carpet we received an email that the carpet had frayed. The carpet manufacturer tells us they will not warranty the carpet due to an environmental issues (pull from a vacuum). I have also spoken to several professionals who agree the frayed carpet is from a vacuum beater bar pull.
