My husband and I were way over our heads when we signed the contract with Mountianview Resorts. We were only shown glamorous things about the timeshare, and did not realize how misleading the presentation was. We have regretted our purchase for a while now, and have since reached out to discuss ending our ownership. We had children in school, and nothing was ever available during their breaks. The availability of the timeshare didn't work for our family then, and it doesn't work for us now. The maintenance fees were very downplayed at the time of purchase. No one ever mentioned that the price would increase. It has more than doubled over the course of being with the timeshare. This is something that we would have never agreed to. Owning a timeshare has been nothing like what we had thought it would be. This is not something that we wish to pass onto our children. Even after discussing this and more with Mountainview Resorts, we were given no options other than to sell or transfer. If we had someone to take this from us, we would have given it away for free years ago. Selling or transferring is not a reasonable means to ending our ownership, and we need the resort to take it back. We're not even looking for our money back at this point. We just want a clean break from our association and obligations to Mountainview Resorts
