    On April 21, 2023, I signed a contract with Brothers Fencing, LLC for the purchase and installation of a four-foot vinyl fence The cost was $$6165, and I paid half of to get a date scheduled and got a receipt signed by *****************************, the owner of said company. I was told it would be done in 6-8 weeks, maybe sooner.I reached out via email to him on May 20, and was told he was trying to get to our fence prior to Memorial Day weekend. No contact, so on May 31st, I emailed again to see if they were still open. Their phone number was not working and I had stopped by their office, but no one was there. On 5/31, I received an email telling me that the owner had been hospitalized so business was slowed to a halt. I advised them that the next available installation date for us was 6/6. That afternoon, I received a call stating we would have date on 6/8.On 6/10, we still had not heard anything, so my husband tried the number and left a message to call us. That day, I received an email apologizing for the lack of communication and again, telling me the owner had been hospitalized and that he would call me from his personal number that evening or the next day, June 11th. No contact was made either day.On Wed, 6/14, and Thurs 6/15, they called to say they would install on Thurs and then respectively on Friday. On Friday, I called ************ (*****), and was told that the brother I reached was no longer in the business "I have left the business so here is my brothers number ************ (*******)". I called and was told they would be here Sat or the job would be free. A truck arrived Sat. 6/17, and dropped off some material at the end of our driveway, telling my husband they would be back after dropping off any other load and getting our posts to install. They never came. I drove to their office at 4pm confronted them and was told they would be at our home on Sunday, 6/18 to install in the afternoon. That never happened. I don't want what they left, and want a refund.
