I contacted this dealership initially through their online chat requesting a test drive for a vehicle listed on their website. Confirmed the correct vehicle with the online responder, but also called later that same morning when the dealership was open to request a test drive appointment. Again, I confirmed with the sales person **** specifically which vehicle I was interested in. He told me to come in anytime, I told him I would be there by 3pm at the latest. I took half a day off work to drive from Rockport to Oakland to look at this car. When I arrived at the dealership, **** greeted me with the news that that vehicle had been sold 3 days ago. He claimed he "wasn't aware" that it was sold but had "put together a list" of other vehicles for me to look at. At any point in that time where he was assembling his list of other cars, he could have called me and informed me the car I wanted was no longer available. His deception by omission not only completely lost my trust but cost me wages, time, and fuel money I could have saved otherwise. Very shady sales tactics, and I will not be considering this dealership in the future.Review from David G

This dealership is not a good one to work with. They lie to make the sale then don't follow through on their word. They sold me a truck that had a steering problem. When I took it back to them, they said it's not part of the inspection process so we don't check it. They tried charging me $450 to fix the issue when I was able to get the part for $60 and fix it myself in approximately 5 minutes. Do not do business with *** Haskell. You will regret it. Other local dealerships have horror stories they have heard and personally dealt with after someone comes to them with history from Ray Haskell.
