We got a referral from my daughters orthodontist to see ***************************** . We were told by the orthodontist and also ******************************* office that they do except me in here. We went to the appointment for my daughter and gave the information for mainecare. Weve been received a **** a month later. I called the office to contest the charges. I asked why I was receiving a **** and why this has not been submitted to mainecare. I was told that they were not sure what code you listed under. Ive reached out to mainecare a few times regarding this situation. Mainecare told me that this was illegal from them to **** me when they except me and care. I am very confused about this and also frustrated due to the laws when a company excepts me in here they should not be billing the patient. I would like my balance to being at zero with them. I would also like Ive got a business bureau to reach out to them in this matter calmer due to mainecare has sent them something in the mail a few times already and I have not gotten anywhere with this except for them being very rude. The balance is for the amount of $230 and this needs to be submitted to mainecare not billed to me .Business response

We are not Mainecare providers for dental treatment. We have written the balance off for the patient as a courtesy. Thank you.
