I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent purchase of an outdoor play set from Shedhappens, invoice number 11642-5176. I ordered it in April 2022 and it was delivered in May 2023.Upon delivery, I discovered that the play set was missing a crucial canopy part, and the attaching swing set I ordered was also absent. Despite making countless calls over the last six months and receiving promises of resolution, I have not received any follow-up or missing parts.I kindly request immediate action to:a. Deliver the missing canopy part.b. Arrange for the order and delivery of the attaching swing set.c. Provide compensation for the delay and inconvenience.Business response

Customer purchased a wooden play boat on April 27,2022. After making many attempts to schedule delivery of the play boat to ********, ** we received communication from customer that he couldnt take delivery right off, as he was selling his house or moving or something similar. We held the play boat for over a year without final payment. We delivered the play boat in June of 2023 to ** and customer was not charged for additional delivery. The invoice that was emailed to customer clearly states that no swing beam or swings are included. We explained to the customer that if he wanted to add those, they were in stock at the manufacturer but they would need to be paid for before ordering. Several attempts were made to collect payment for swing beam and swings with no success so we figured customer did not wish to continue with that portion of the order.
We have no email or phone communication from customer since he made payment online almost 6 months ago. If customer has something contrary, Id like to see that.
Driver states that canopy was owed to customer but that customer offered to pick it ** in Saco because he was in the area regularly and when purchased we did not factor delivery to **.
Customer used two different credit cards for making the deposit and final payment. If he would like to provide one of these credit card numbers we will happily provide a refund for the canopy in full immeediately.

Order product from the listed company, product was deliver only 3/4 of the product was completed, reached out to company no prior explanation was received nor were there any follow up's with the resolution. Made several contacts with company with no correspondents back from company. I feel like this was a situation that could have been avoided through communication by the company. I feel that their standard form of operation in unprofessional and folks seeking business from this company need to be aware of this companies standard unprofessional practices. I need some sort of restitution for service I paid for that was not performed.Business response

This shed was ordered with a garage door which we sub out to another company. We ordered the door when the shed was ordered. We were told several times the door was on the truck but that was not the case for whatever reason. We generally dont deliver sheds that arent finished. Customer was anxious to get shed delivered, he was informed it was being delivered without the door and that the door would be installed as soon as it landed. It took longer to get for whatever reason but the shed would have sat on our lot without a door just the same as it sat on his lot without a garage door. Some things are out of our control and we apologize for that. The door was installed the day after his last threatening/demanding call to our store. Phone calls can be posted to verify our side.
