      I called ************ to repair my propane furnace on 6/06/2024. Two men came and said that it was just a minor adjustment. We had no hot water the entire weekend. We called them back on Monday and said that we still did not have hot water. They sent another guy to look at the furnace and said that we needed a new rod. He said it would have to be ordered. He adjusted the one that was in there as much as possible so that we could have hot water until the part came in. We went another weekend without hot water. A couple of days later, they sent him back with a part that did not fit. Again, he said when the part came in, he would be back to replace it. Today is 6/17/2024. A fourth man came to replace the rod. Rod still doesnt fit. This is terrible service. Work not done and yet, sent us a bill. They said on the day I called they will bill when work is completed. Terrible service. Did not pay yet. Repair not done. This is a terrible way to run a business.

      This company I have been with for 3 years suddenly changed all my account terms, started demanding upfront payment, with no cause, and the employees state they are in charge but cant change anything. When requested to speak with Superviser told the rep is highest person on company. cFP CEO are not communicative Major billing inconsistencys Sent demand letter for service. Balance paid from demand letter. Company generates a new demand letter stating billing issues and demands immediate payment or no fuel delivery (black mail) but not able to provide documentation supporting balance changes Service cost more than double a cost of a plumber. Their techs hold a small licence and should not be able to charge $300 to show up for standard service. Plus hourly plus parts. That is wrong. Additional the employees make changes to accounts, billing terms, and balances as they see fit.

      I had oil delivered exclusively from this company and my oil tank has never had problems with freezing until using this company. The oil is completely frozen in my tank. They refuse to accept responsibility. I have lost a large amount of my oil trying to burn out the bad product. I had a third delivery last week and now my tank is frozen. I can thaw lines, change parts weekly but I can't thaw the tank. This is an emergency as I have no heat.

      On Friday July 14th we had a service call. The technician came out at 11:50am regarding a leak from my boiler. The tech told us that we needed a part and have to leave to go get it....no problem. It took the tech 7 hours to fix the issue. When question several times even as he was leaving, we could not get a clear answer to what the problem was. He had a no care attitude, and just kept apologizing, yet no answer.Called the office on Monday the 17th to speak to the service manager. I was connected to ****** who started off defensive and asked me "what did I want", and "did ************ the problem"? In so many words, stop complaining and came off as if I was wasting his time. He couldn't understand my frustration that we had to ask numerous time, even as he was putting everything back together (the last 30 mins) what the issue was and did not get an answer...yet he was able to write up his receipt with detailed information. I asked to speak to someone who was over ****** and he stated that he was as high as it gets and refused to give me his boss's name. This man has no common decency and horrible customer service skills. The customer isn't always right, but to start off your conversation already being defensive, tells me that this overpriced job was previously discussed between the tech and manager. I feel that I was overcharged for the job, and want some resolution, this is ridiculous. I'm not requesting a full refund, but just be reasonable..if the tech was not capable fixing a 2 hour issue own it. I have been a customer ever since I built my house 7 years ago and have had a service call before with no issues. But $1300+ is outrageous again for a 2 - 3 hour at most service call.

      A serviceman came to my home literally did not touch one thing! My furnace was off so the door was already opened. He seen the water in my furnace and simply made the comment that the furnace was no good!Since I get fuel assistance I thought it was being paid by them.I live on disability but when I found out that I had to pay I took ****** out of my disability money on 12/6/22 and I paid what I was told I owed.Now today I get a letter from the ****** Agency saying I still owe ******. That is crazy! I have my receipt!That service man spoke more to me and my brother about the ***************************** home which I have a shared driveway with.It had nothing to do with my furnace problems. He never even attempted to touch a tool, or as I said never even touched the furnace door.It was more of a friendly visit, as I said he was asking how it was sharing the driveway with the Hawthorne House.Now they expect that I should pay this outrages amount?According to my receipt #***** which was paid in their ******* branch #***** shows I payed ****** cash Im a 70 year old disabled grandmother, I am in end stage COPD, and diabetes. I live under ****** a month I cant afford to be ripped off like this.This is so unfair what this company is doing. Their employee was more on a social call than on a service call. I almost thought he was gonna try to go have a tour of the Hawthorne house. He DID ABSOLUTELY NO WORK OF ANY KIND AT MY HOME!

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      On June 1, 2023 I filed a complaint with this same company, same issue. They were claiming I owed them money. I had my receipt that I paid them ****** but they still felt that I owed ****** more. Absolutely nothing was done on my furnace or oil delivery NOTHING! When their employee came it was like a friend spending time together. We share property with ***************************** home. Their employee was so interested in that home that was all he spoke about. Not a tool, not even as much as a pencil was picked up on my behalf. Needless to say I was shocked to hear what this company felt I owed them above the ****** that I already paid. After filing my complaint I received a phone call from Fieldings, a man made the call. He said he was made aware of my BBB complaint. We discussed my issue, and he said he was clearing out the remaining ****** that they felt I owed. I then commented on hearing about the ******************* complaint they did against me. He said not to worry about it and he would take care of it. On June 15th he even reported to BBB that the matter was resolved. That I owed nothing. Today Dec 19,2023 I received a phone call from the ******************* saying they were calling on behalf of Fieldings Oil and that I owed them ****** I explained this was resolved back in June 2023 She said until Fieldings Oil contacts them and removes it that it will remain as being owed. Even though I gave them the complaint number from BBB they could not clear this up only Fieldings can. Once they say its resolved and that I owe nothing then 6 months later activates it again? They reported to BBB that its been resolved. This is so wrong for this company to do this. I owe them NOTHING! Please help me again get this resolved for the final time!

      This account never spoke to ********************, she spoke with myself, ***************************, the General Manager for the ************** Company on June 1 2023.  After our phone call and my explaing the series of events, my company decided to write off the remaining $137.80 from her account because she "didn't feel she should have to pay for us to tell her that her system was beyond the point of repair' even though she had no idea and sought our assistance.  I have spoken with our collection agency and the last letter from us was back in May of 2023, which lead to the June resolution.  The ******************* was discreet, but told me that she had balances from other companies, and that none of the balances owed were from or o.b.o ************** Company.  We are not sure who is seeking their money, but it is not us as she is no longer an active account due to the damaged business relationship.

      None of the business response is correct. When the collection agency called they said it was in regards to Fieldings Oil. At first I had no knowledge why they were calling because I thought that was handled months ago. After giving my name and address they informed me it was this company. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE ANY ACCOUNTS WITH ANY COLLECTION AGENCIES! THIS IS A COMPLETE UNTRUTH! They just need to remove this from this agency or my next response will be from the court! My time with their employee was more about the Hawthorne Home and not a single thing was done. It was more like having time with a friend than anything else. Their employee didnt touch a single thing not even my doorknob. So I owe them NOTHING!

      On oct 5 ******************************* share her concers of no oil with( ex husband now friend) who later comtinue to said no worries i got u some help he had contac fieldings oil on oct 5 to order oil for $50 gallons.later the 15 i went over my moms back *********** found a non authorized transaction on the 17. Wish i reported to chime her bank account .chime gave her a curtesy credit till is solve in wish still remain in progresss..she receive a letter from city wealfare she has 200 credict n went she call to order she find out shes been charge for services again she did not oil ******** was order by her authorize on oct $174 for 50 gallons i call ************************* gave my chime card numbers n pay $117 to add to the total of **************************************************************************************************** hes truck later he comes out with the oil to fill i go outside without hes notice n i see the metter is runnin went the belt is not plug to the oil tank he still wakin tours meanin hes stealin oil he started at .8 n he stop at 82 gallons he runs to truck n finds me lookim at the meter i ask him i order 100 why u stop why was u walkin tours my house n scale is runnin like u dispencing somethin u not .he argue the i was smokin wish i did way before inwent to the ********* ask him yea problem here is u stealin ...now again i was **** for wat every service we gotten we have to pay before delivery so weres all this charges the one the was order by someone else whos not authorise to use my account not alone takem 200 credict from city hall agaim for wat i want my money n this company to be imvestigaye everytime we fill oil is gone now we know many times they come n drop they been rippi.       Upon immediate review with our collections department and delivery management staff, there was no illegal activity on this account from the the records we have or transactions completed.  All our trucks in the state of NH have been properly calibrated and sealed per the State and Federal requirements.  A meter will not accrue or run unless home heating oil is being dispensed into a home or residence, and there is no way to "trick" a meter without product being dispersed.  What the account saw was the meter reset when the pump was engaged and the delivery line was being charged/ pressurized to begin the delivery process.  

      The account has been looked at and the are no abnormal charges assessed other than standard minimum delivery fees for ordering less than the required amount by company standard.   From the notes on the account and the phone calls with the office staff it is noted that there are multiple people located at this location who deal with ordering and payment.  I feel a lot of the error and miscommunication may lie within the residence.

      Due to the difficulty of being able to reach someone at the home, due to inactive phone numbers, and the multiple issues with payment arrangements and accusations, this account has been made a Cash ONLY acct!!!  Having accused us of foul play, they still continue to order oil from us.
