  We rented the *********************** cottage at Sebago west shore cottages from 10/8/23-10/12/23. When we reserved the cottage it showed it would have a a jacuzzi tub (the only cottage that had it which why we chose that one) when we get there we find that it was completely renovated which we were never told about, I even went back into their website to make sure we were in the correct cottage. I have pictures of what we got and it was nothing like what the pictures showed on their website I even have a screen recording of me going into safari onto their website yesterday (10/8/23) and the pictures were still up showing the jacuzzi tub. So I asked him for a refund of my money bc the cottage isnt what was shown in the picture. There was even mold in the bathroom ceiling. (I have pictures of that as well) there was also a lamp that had the wires EXPOSED and was plugged into the wall. So I contacted him via text and said how this isnt what we requested he then calls me and talk to me really nasty we didnt even stay a night bc of how he talked to me I was in fear for my life that he would show up to the cottage and start problems, so we left the keys on the kitchen table and left. I have a recording of him beings nasty to me. He then went on to tell me that HE WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE ME A REFUND all Because there was no jacuzzi tub. (The tub was the ONLY reason we chose that cottage.) he did refund me $300 of the $637.40. I want him to refund me the rest of the money. I told him that he can keep the $195 for the night we stayed for 2 hours. We also did talk to a deputy in ***** and filed an incident report I have the incident report number if you need that.

  We have owned these cottages for 6 years. There are 8 cottages. We receive nothing but the highest ratings. Our website is www.sebagowestshorecottages. The pictures and description are accurate. There is a collage of pictures and a detailed description of what is included in each cottage. Cottage was totally remodeled in November of 2022. On the very bottom of the listing there was a picture that was inadvertently left that shows an old hot tub. I was called on a Sunday evening after returning from a wedding and berated and accused of a bait and switch. I was told that I had done this on purpose and that they were going to the Sheriff and ************* Their attitude was threatening and ridiculous. We never misrepresented anything and you can feel free to check our ratings on both ****** and AirBNB where I am a Superhost. That is an honor that is not east to attain. These individuals are deranged and I am being harrassed by them. Please check your complaints about my business and you will find none. Because of this harassment I will not comply with their bullying tactics. Our track record speaks for itself. We are proud and successful small business owners.
