I do NOT recommend this company! I hired BAC (or BCA-he spells it both ways) Builders, *******************, back in Oct 2021, was also supposed to take 2 weeks to complete this project. He claimed he had no other work for a couple weeks. He showed up for about a week, then his work days were very sporadic, maybe a couple days a week, then a couple days every couple weeks. This was time sensitive because winter was coming and my house was exposed to the elimants. He strung me along until Dec 3, I decided to find a contractor who could finish it. The job was barely done and the temperatures dropped drastically! But, my living room ceiling was not insulated (I could see outside), the basement stairs were not closed up from the basement, the heating ducts in the basement were removed so no heat was reaching my house, ******************* were exposed in the basement and living room, there were cracks in the floor where you could see into the basement, the stairs were made with plywood which caused a Pitstop contractor to fall thru them, I have no electrical outlets working in my home office and my smoke detector was pulled out of the ceiling with a wire cut so it didnt work. I asked him several times to fix these because they were dangerous for my granddaughter and for several weeks, he just kept saying Im trying to get someone over there but he come fix it. Then he kept yelling at me over the phone because I wanted to get someone who had the time. He never came to fix it, blamed everyone else for the issues, said he shouldnt be responsible for any of this and took over $14,000 from me for a job that was supposed to be $11,100. He refuses to refund me the overpayment or pay for another contractor to fix what he left me with. I worked my **** off for 10 years, working night shifts, holidays, whatever it took to make this dream renovation come true, now it's a nightmare I can't wake up from!
