We paid him by check for both snow removal and lawncare services. He did not come as many times as we prepaid for the year. When he FINALLY answered us, he promised us our money to be refunded and that he would mail us a refund check. He owes us exactly $465 and wont answer our attempts to reach him. We also have a RING camera and have tracked the number of times he has serviced our home. He agreed with our refund amount but hasnt mailed a check as promised in writing via text.Initial Complaint

I contracted ****** Handyman Services to do landscaping Install new lawn out back/ hydroseed mulch all gardens and plant flowers, mulch all areas, etc.,I paid him for this work $9000, by check which has already cleared. I last saw him the thursday before Memorial day, and have not seen him since, I have called his phone several times and left messages, I also sent him an email. He has not returned any of my calls, I would like my money back so I can hire someone to at least cut the grass.Customer response

On 10/21/2021 I hired ************************* to snow plow my father's home, at ********************************** in ***** *****. My father, ******************************* is 90 years old and at the time was living at home. He needed both plowing and some snow shoveling done so EMT's could access the house if he fell and hurt himself. My Dad prepaid ************************* $540 for the 2021 and 2022 plow season. This prepay was for 12 snowplows and if there were less than 12 plows we would receive a check for the balance in April of 2022. Because of some medical issues my father was admitted to an assisted living facility on Wednesday, November 24th 2021. He can longer living at home and no longer needed ****** snowplowing services. I contacted **** in December and told him I no longer needed his services and why. No snowplowing services were ever rendered by ****. He agreed to pay back the $540 advanced payment and told me that the check was mailed to my address in ********. As of February 8th 2022 have yet to receive payment. I have sent him by register mail a letter, I have called and texted him. He is ignoring my attempts to contact him to resolve this issue.Customer response
