      * Date of the transaction: 7/28/2023 * Order total: $205.00, 4 installment payments of $51.25 due ****, ****, 9-8 and **** * Order No. ************ I have reached out to the company and have not had the resolution I'm seeking. I have recently lost my job and have asked for a cancellation and refund of monies already received by the merchant. They refer to their terms and conditions, which I understand, but my situation, I feel, falls into 'an extreme category.

      Taking a look into this customer's order we can confirm the order was placed on July 28th, shipped out on August 5th (due to a product restock - outlined when purchasing) and delivered on August 9th. We received the refund inquiry from the customer on August 16th. As outlined in our terms and conditions, once an order leaves our warehouse we are unable to provide a refund. While we understand there can be extenuating circumstances, our products are consumable and our terms and conditions are clearly outlined.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      I experienced my job loss after I placed the order via the merchant's website using a the 3rd party payor, Afterpay. Afterpay does not handle product return issues. If I had experienced my job loss before I was considering making the purchase, I would not have made the purchase. I did look for an alternate 'third party' to see what was available for purchase and found them on Target's website. If I had been satisfied with the product offerings on Target's website, I would have made the purchase through them. I would also have no issue returning the products to Target. I did not purchase the items from Target, because as I have stated, Target doesn't provide the same product availability that the company does through their website. Generally speaking, I have reached out to the company within 30 days, which is what most merchants state on their websites for their returns policy.  I do feel that this company needs to have a process in place to accommodate situations such as mine as their response shouldn't be 'let us know how you go' when you've lost your job and have an outstanding bill of $145 that you can't pay.

      Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

      Approximately 2 weeks ago (early May 2023), I purchased a bottle of Focus Factor from ******* The bottle claimed to have 180 capsules. When a friend of mine wanted to try the product, I told her I would split my new, unopened bottle with her. To my surprise, the bottle contained only 170 capsules, not 180, as advertised.I spoke to an Administrator at the ****** I purchased it from and they said they would also do a check to see if they had the same result. I have not heard back (and probably won't).

      We can confirm this is most definitely not usual as all of our products go through a quality control inspection before being approved for shipment. As this bottle was purchased via third party, we do recommend the customer to follow back up with the location the product was purchased from for further assistance.

      I completed an order online at Flat Tummy Co. for Apple Cider gummies for $31.95 on July 24, 2022. At the time of purchase I received an email stating I would receive another email within two business days with shipping details. I have not received that email and it's almost been two weeks. On July 30, 2022, I emailed the company asking for a full refund as I feel this company is a scam and have not spoken with a live person. I include my cell phone number in each email. I recieve a generic email response a few days after I reply to their email. At this point I no longer wish to receive the item as I have purchased Apple Cider gummies elsewhere and have not received a positive response to my cancelation request. This company claims there was a delay out of their control with the order but has yet to mention anything about refunding my money. I am within their refund policy because the item purchased has not been shipped and they are not responding to any emails. I have emailed them at least three times since July 30th asking to cancel and receive a refund and have received no response. Please assist as this company is not using fair business practices nor are they sending items purchased. Please help.

      On July 24, 2022 I placed an order with Flat Tummy Co. I purchased two items one was their triple threat bundle consisting of A morning an evening detox tea, apple cider vinegar gummies and a meal replacement powder. I also purchased a shaker bottle. After submitting my order the confirmation page states my items will ship in 1-2 working days. Being that it was a Sunday I figured no later than Wednesday I should receive the email. By Friday the 29th of July I still hadnt gotten anything from the company so I sent an email inquiring about when my order will be shipped. I got a reply back asking for my order number an email address used so it can be researched. I happily replied with the requested info. Then I heard nothing back. I replied again the next day stated I no longer wanted the product and that I would like to cancel an receive a full refund being that I purchased a similar product from another company and had already received it. I didnt get a reply. This afternoon I went to their app and went to feedback and sent yet another email stating I wanted to cancel and receive a full refund for my purchase still nothing. And about ten minutes ago I sent a third email stating the same thing but advising them I will take further action being that I havent heard anything about my order but they have my $120.05. Also I am well within their refund policy which states: Please note that any consumable items do not apply for returns or refunds once they have been shipped out from our offices. This includes, but not limited to: Flat Tummy Shakes, Flat Tummy Tea, Flat Tummy Lollipops, Flat Tummy Supplements. At this point I feel like this company is a fraud. They have taken my money but now its like they do not exist. I want my money back and I shouldnt have to keep waiting. When they processed my payment immediately and the purchased post to my bank account the very next day. I tried to resolve the matter with them but that has been very unsuccessful. Please help me.
