Nationwide LTE Push to Talk Walkie Talkies have been highly praised by the Rapid Radio Team for their durability and reliability. Initially skeptical, I personally spoke with my uncle from New York in Houston, Texas, and Boston. These are great radios. I have used them to communicate all across Texas. They worked perfectly. Some people are angry due to the annual $50 sim charge but that really cost nothing for peace of mind. Others say well if the cell towers go down so will these radios. Never in my lifetime (53) have I ever seen ALL cell towers go down so as long as some are working you will have a signal. During 9/11 you couldn't reach anyone due to congestion on the towers, but these radios would still work due to the band they use. Very satisfied.Review from Aarron F

I have both kinds of radios from RapidRadios.com. the ones that use cell service, I got the 4 pack. Recently my parents took the grandkids to Yellowstone, Sturgis and Mt Rushmore. My mom's cellphone stopped getting service, but her radio still worked so she called us on the radio and we were able to book them RV spots. With out the radios they would have ended up sleeping on the side of the highway with 3 kids under 10. My dad was continually checking in while driving from Seattle to Sturgis and back, there was only a couple of dead spots. We all love these things and encourage others to get them if you have kids. I got them because my dad refuses to get a cellphone and I refuse to give my kid a cellphone.
