I have used this company for over 20 years, and haven't had any issues with the service. The prices have been reasonable. I needed to stop my service almost year ago , due to being out of the area for a while. I called and canceled my service while being out of the area and staying at my other home. I now need to resume my service again at my address which I have had service with Pot Luck for over 20 years. I called recently a week ago to ask about a temporary trash container, and called a day ago also , and talked to a young lady each time.that was very RUDE and UNPROFESSION . She talk to me as if she had a right to get into my personal business.The young lady told me that Pot Luck doesn't provide temporary service and I had to commit to 6 months to start my service back up. , and she also ask if I had other service with a different provider, and said if so they don't provide service to people who have other service with other providers . I ask to speak to a office manager, and the young lady refused to allow me to speak to a manager. and said the office doesn't operate that way.When I cancel my service she was rude also and told me I had to cancel on the company's time frame , and I couldn't pick my own cancelation date. This young lady does not know how to treat customers, she has very poor customer service skills. No company has a right to put demands on customers with good credit and paying history or have a right to demand personal information from a paying customer. I feel bad for POT LUCK owners if they allow this type of customer service. I feel this young lady is rude and young and very immature and intentionally displays inappropriate , UNPROFESSION, immature treatment towards customers. I no longer want their services . No customer should have to put up with this inappropriate. Unpeerfessinal treatment.

I never leave reviews, but this company is that bad! I just canceled my service with PLPU after 16 months. In 20 years of home ownership we never had any issue with our previous trash company. PLPU has the WORST customer service! They have been passive aggressively rude to us each time we call with a question or concern, and I have worked answering phones so I am not rude to people who do. We were twice charged $5 for overages and both times it was not correct. The first time I just paid it. The second time was for 5 extra leaf bags. I called because we did not have 11 bags out with our dumpster. The girl told me they would not charge me if the bags were not there. I told her I was 100% sure there were not 11 bags out that day. She did not care. I told her I could send a picture from my camera and she said "yeah you do that" then gave me attitude when i asked for the email address. I immediately sent an email with the pictures and for an entire week I heard nothing back. I called and asked to speak to a manager and he was not there, he was running a route. I asked for him to call me and she asked for my address and details on why I needed a phone call back. I gave her the information and she said that charge was removed from my account. I apologized and said I had heard nothing back so I assumed nothing had been done. She said they got my pictures and they were a little blurry so if I could send a less blurry photo if I had an issue in the future that would be great, with a huge attitude! Yes, the pic was a little blurry, but there were clearly not 11 bags on the curb. My cancelation and this review is not about the $5, because it is not an issue for me for pay $5 at all if I did something wrong. I did nothing wrong and followed their rules for the allowed number of additional yard waste bags. Their staff is rude, condescending, and lacks proper communication with someone who has a concern. If they charge enough people an extra $5 here and there it is a LOT of money to them but literally nothing to me. If I could give them negative stars I would!
