The most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with.We were getting 8 week lead times from all of the other landscaping businesses and wanted if done asap. ******* came out to my house same day And assured us he would start in a couple of weeks. We hired him to do our lawn, sprinkling, and fence. We gave him all of the money, 20k, in early June 2021. This was obviously a huge Mistake to put all of the money. But he said he was starting in the next couple weeks so it didnt seem like a big deal. He was such. Smooth talker and knew so many people in the neighborhood we totally trusted him. Long story short, we finally got our lawn and fence in over one YEAR later. Our sprinkling and yard prep was done in the fall, five months after we gave him our money. The yard looks terrible. They didnt even bother to take out the weeds before they put the hydro seed down, it was done very patchily so there are lots of bare spots. Whatever grass he used is Bright green and not even the same color as the rest of the houses in the neighborhood. Here is the kicker he almost stuck us with a ***** **** to the plumber that was supposed to be billed to him not us since we paid up front for the entire sprinkling system. The plumbers billed us instead and he still has not paid as of today. The **** was due last November. Luckily the plumbers looked at the documents we had that said rikes was responsible not us so they are taking him to court instead. So not only did he s**** us he never even paid them. In summary, Rikes (***********************) is a dishonest incompetent liar. FYI He also owns Petes lawn care!!!

I would give zero stars if I could to this terrible business. They should change their name to Rikes Landscamming if they're even still in business. We hired Jamison to build our dream pool deck and patio with landscaping in February 2021 with a $14,000 deposit with the remainder due upon project completion. We asked if Jamison would be leading the project onsite and he confirmed he would be. The project began at the end of May with completion promised to by done by June (I guess he meant end of June). Jamison subcontracted the entire project unbeknownst to us. People would show up once or twice a week, work for 6 to 8 hours and leave the project site trashed for 4 or 5 day weekends before returning to work a few more hours each week. Jamison showed up twice. One time to deal with the fact that he had not pulled a permit with the township for our project and the project was on hold until the permit issue could be resolved. Jamison blamed us for not having pulled a permit and went out of his way to let us know how gracious he was to get the permit issue resolved and paid for out of his own pocket. We have never been required to pull a permit for a contracted project without having been asked to prior to project start. As the project dragged on through the end of June it was clear the people he hired were nowhere near completion. Communication was always challenging as he rarely responded to calls and emails, always saying he was on vacation or on another project when he did respond, and problem solving the project issues became ongoing. In mid July with the project not even half way completed Jamison had his team walk off the project unless we paid them more money. On top of the $14,000 deposit, we had personally paid for all of the composite materials and half of the vinyl rail system and all brackets for the decking. We requested receipts for all materials purchased and labor charged and were told he didn't have to provide us with those receipts becasue he had charged us a flat rate for the project. We are now left with a misshaped nowhere near square concrete slab, no landscaping, weeds growing everywhere they tore up the landscape...they never even killed the grass under where they partially built the deck, unfinished rails, horribly built stair rails, no underlayment of the deck or custom storage areas under the pool deck as contracted. A complete ******** nightmare, and the deck is nowhere near code with no gates having been built. Attorneys have advised that it would be more costly to pursue action than it would be for us to move forward with another company (which no other company will touch this half finished project), or we have to finish it ourselves. You've been warned and we've learned a very hard unfortunate lesson through this nightmare.
