      Horrible management we have a service dog because I have ptsd. The owner called us to complain about our dog. Their small motel room was outdated and not very clean. She said our dog left hair. We keep our dog in a cage as to not bother other. The owner wad rude and nasty. I would not recommend this place. Unfriendly not considerate of a veteran who went to war for her freedom. Pretty sad. Avoid this joint yuch

      This guest made a reservation with our property and brought a dog. Our property is not a pet friendly facility. however as per requirement of law, we do accommodate those with Registered Service Animals. Unfortunately, it is our experience that often travelers will make a reservation knowing we are not pet friendly and then sneak animals into the room. This guest did not make us aware that they would be bringing a service animal, therefore when we entered the room after the guest departed and everything was absolutely covered with dog hair, we were pretty unhappy. I called the guest and asked if they had a dog with them. I was told they did. I, by law, can ask them only two questions about the animal: Is it a registered service animal because of a disability and if so, what task has the dog been trained to perform. I was told it was a registered service animal, but after asking 3 times the guest would not or could not answer the second question which led me to believe she was not being truthful. This sadly happens a lot. Having the experience that we have had with guests disregarding our policies we can only assume we have been taken advantage of once again. I explained to this guest that because of the mess that was left, I was unable to rent the room to the person that reserved for the night following their departure. When we do have properly registered dogs stay, we do not rent the room for at least 24 hours giving us extra time for mitigating hair, dander, and messes associated with animals. We were not given the courtesy of knowing they were staying with a dog, so we were put in an awkward situation with our guests that were arriving. I apologize for seeming rude, as I was very frustrated that I could not get a clear answer to the question I posed regarding the legitimacy of this animal. I am sorry that this guest found our room to be dated and unkept, as this in not a typical experience. And I very certainly mean no disrespect to anyone that has served our country. We thank you for your service.
