Brain Land told me that it would take 2 weeks to convert 2 closets into small half bathroom. But they take 4 weeks to complete bathroom. It was not perfect. They told me they put cover on floor and wall to keep house clean. It would be two weeks to complete it because bathroom is small 5 by 7 feet. It took them 3 days to install rock sheet on wall after plumber and electrican install box and pipe on struction. Then it take them 9 days to finish with plaster on wall. They left floor messy with plaster paste several times. I had to clean it up about 4 or 5 times. I told Brian about it. He didn't say anything. They started to cut hole on ceiling for new attic door in stairwell on Wednesday. . I told them that attic have two vents. I asked them to finish with it ASAP But they finished with it on Monday . They let freeze air coming into my bedroom and stairwell 6 days. Last year insulation company guy made about 12 by 24 inches hole on wall in bedroom in about 15 minutes. Why did they take 6 days to cut ceiling instead of 15 minutes? Also they switched doors in bathroom. They put one door on old door jamb. Door was about 1/8 inch wider. So door edge need about 1/8 inches trimmed. But they trimmed door jamb instead and leave it rough and not even. They didn't fix it when I tell Brian that I don't like it. I fixed it myself and put thin wood ( wooden paint stick) on it and cover rough and hole door jamb. So it looks better and smooth. I don't understand why they trim door jamb instead of door edge. I asked them if they can change knobs. They didn't change them. Also ceiling in closet are not even. They said they can't fix it. They told me that they are work from 8 AM until 4 PM. But they came in late like 9;30 AM . They left work early and didn't tell us. On snow day I woke up early and shovel snow around 7 AM. I get ready for them to come but they come late like 9:30 AM. They were rude for not let us know what time they are coming. Very poor builder!
