On Sunday, April 1st, we submitted a maintenance order for our dishwasher that had overflowed/leaked onto the floor and would not drain. Monday, April 2nd, we assumed the dishwasher was looked at because the drain was moved onto one of the racks, but received zero communication from maintenance or management as to if the dishwasher had been checked/fixed or what the plan for fixing it was. When nothing had been done or communicated by Friday, April 7th, I called the office but they had closed early for the holiday weekend. I sent a text on this day asking for an update. On Monday, April 10th, we received a response that they would make sure maintenance came over that day. That evening, after closing, no one had come by and we had not heard from anyone. I again sent a message asking for an update and was responded to on Tuesday, April 11th, that the maintenance person would be delivering the dishwasher that afternoon. Again, no one came by or communicated with us all of Tuesday. I called the office on Wednesday, April 12th, and was told the maintenance man was out but the employee would talk to the manager and see what would be done and that she would call me back with an update. Again, no one called us. On Thursday, April 13th, I messaged the office again and let them know I did not receive a call back and was looking for an update. This time, I was told it would be delivered on Tuesday, April 18th. Come Friday, April 14th, we hear a loud noise and have come to find out our water heater is assumedly broken, as we have no hot water. We are now without a dishwasher and have zero hot water. In fact, the only water we have is extremely cold. We called the office and received an answering service who could not provide us with an emergency maintenance number but took down our information. We have no way to reach management about this maintenance emergency and now fear that our request will be met with weeks of waiting for repairs, again.

Our Apartment got bed bugs, the day that we found out I immediately informed our Landlord. We didn't hear anything from her for about 2 days then she informs us that they will be out in a week to look at them, so the week goes by and they come to look at the bugs and leave, we didn't hear anything from them for about 2 days, In the meantime, we left countless phone calls, to try to find out when they are going to come to do the extermination, so we get a call and they tell us that it'll be another week before they can come out and "Get Rid of Them". So in the meantime, we had to do something to remedy the situation, so we went to ***** and got some bug bombs that are specifically made for Bed Bugs. Mind you I don't know a single person in their right mind that live in bugs for 2 weeks waiting for our landlord to do something. Now that we self-treated she is trying to make us pay an additional $1500 on top of our rent for "Damages" and for any surrounding apartments that get bed bugs. We moved into this apartment on August 30th, September 29th she was informed, it wasn't till the 5th of Oct that they did the "Inspection", and then they treated the Apartment on the 12 of October, and if we would have brought the bugs in ourselves don't you think we would have noticed them when we were moving in.

Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2021/12/02) */ Here are some facts that I have documentation on: The residents of *** notified us of them having bedbugs the beginning of October. We contacted our pest control company ********************** to come out and do an inspection. Bedbugs were found during the inspection so we set the unit up for treatment. An email was sent to them to prep for the treatment. I can send you a copy of this email. The apartment was treated on 10/12/21. A copy of this treatment report is attached. I entered the apartment with the exterminator on the 12th to find about a dozen used self-treat bug bombs used. (I have a pictures of this.) The residents did not prep for the service, electronics were all still plugged in. Lots of aerosol cans, mostly used bug bomb cans. One resident was carrying blankets and bedding out of the apartment to store in his car during the treatment. This would only bring the bugs to his car. Self-treat is against our lease. Please let me know if you would like a copy of this section of our lease. The full 90 days after treatment would be the beginning of January. I convinced ******* to do the inspection sooner due to the residents' complaints. They reinspected on 11/29/2021. Found only dead bugs and casings. Resident ************* was home during the inspection. He requested another treatment just to be safe. The technician agreed that would be a good thing. Retreatment is set for December 17, 2021.
