      Over the past 9 months I have purchased 4 pairs of the same prescription glasses. 3 out of 4 frames have broken. These are the ********************* floral style. On each one the hinge just completely snaps off. After numerous emails that finally agreed to send one pair of replacement frames. Within 10 days that pair broke in the exact same manner. They are now refusing to replace that one. They will also not provide contact information for a supervisor. Avoid and go to Zenni. I paid less for 4 pairs from there that are all still in great shape after months of use.

      After filling out all of my payment and shipment information I was given an order tracking # which I used to double check my order. After typing in the tracking number for my order a message above my order info read word for word Partial payment , you will need to pay AN extra money to complete money your order again this was after putting in my card information and shipping info

      Ordered glasses and sunglasses during their BOGO (eye glasses was 63$ sunglasses were 75$ For **************** paid extra$20 for shipping. Contacted them with in a couple days regarding my sunglasses stating the mirror lenses I paid extra for were causing severe light reflections not allowing me to wear them with out migraines after 5 min. As the wed site states exchanges and refunds with in 30 days .. requested am exchange for the same sunglasses with my script etc minus the mirror lenses. They are only giving a 35$ credit which doesnt cover the cost of getting my script or anything else I already paid extra for. Their reasoning is I got a bogo .. so now I have to pay again for the same sunglasses I originally ordered? How does that make sense! Called several times to be told to reply to an email theres been ******************************************************************** 35$ which doesnt allow me to even order a replacement pair .. I get it it was a bogo but again Im not asking for a refund I just want a new pair with out the mirrors

      I ordered 2 pairs of glasses with a BOGO offer. I specified free shipping as the amount of purchase was well over over the specified amount for free shipping. The order total was $267.85. When the glasses arrived I tried to wear one of the pairs for 4 days but my eyes absolutely could not adjust to them. The second pair was the same prescription. I contacted GlassesShop within the 30 day return window to return the glasses and they offered to make me another pair for only the shipping cost of $24.95. I refused this offer because something is wrong with the glasses. The prescription I sent to them is the same as the current glasses I am wearing. There was no change in my prescription. The pupillary distance was measured by an optometrist. After more phone calls and email I was allowed to return the glasses for a refund. When I received my refund it was $24.95 less than the $267.85 I was originally charged. I am assuming that I was charged for "expedited shipping" which I did not ask for nor did I receive. I selected standard shipping at no cost. I will also say that I had thought this was an **************** but the glasses were shipped from ***** and took a LONG time to receive them. I have tried to contact the company and am put on hold. I tried the online chat and after typing in the issues I was having, no one replied in over an hour and a half.

      I bought 2 pair of glasses from glassesshop.com 2 months ago. One of them broke soon after. I texted and they told me only 30 day guarantee. These glasses are made with very cheap plastic. They were not cheap either. I wanted to upgrade and get credit for the ones I had. They say no. I will like a refund. Or get better frames

      First issue I had was they put my order on hold for days without sending me an email or notification that my order was on hold due to the prescription. Second, I paid $25.00 at check out to have my shipping expedited and when the *** came to my door they said they could not give me the package unless I paid the $25.00 to receive it. I have an invoice that shows I paid the shipping at the time of check out. I contacted support through email and chat. No response from email and in chat they said they will contact me within ***** hours. When *** says they will only attempt to deliver it again the next day. Ive called there customer service number all day and have been on hold for hours just to get a voice mail to leave a message ever single time. I dont believe they have anyone working their customer service office. Dont buy your glasses here!! Terrible customer service and unreliable.

      This place is the worst. I have used ***** for years, without issue, but I needed new glasses asap, and this place was supposed to have the fastest shipping speeds. For some background, I had my left eye amputated two years ago, and I wear a prosthetic on that side. In order for my eyes to look even, I still need to have a prescription in the left lens. If I do not have the exact prescription in both lenses, my prosthetic eye will look enormous compared to my real eye. The reason I needed glasses soon is because I suffer from a neurological disorder called ******* ****** ********. Basically, this is the eye version of phantom limb. The brain does not recognize vision loss, so it sends you false images to your visual field in an attempt to force you to see from an eye that is either not there, or blind. In addition to having visual hallucinations, this disorder causes light, reflective surfaces, and glares to be extremely amplified for me, and it causes me to have severe migraines daily. My optical neurologist told me that if I wear glasses with rose tinted lenses, it will cut back on the severity of the glares and reflections I see, so obviously, I was excited to find a place to order glasses that I could receive quickly. I have not seen clearly or properly for two years, so any sort of relief is a miracle for me. I put in my order Friday. Friday night, I check the status and see a message that only says, "waiting for a response." I click that hot link, and it takes me to an area where I can email the company. There is no message to respond to. I try live chat and nobody gets on. I call their number, but after 15 minutes of waiting, it disconnects. Sunday, I give up and email them to ask what that message means, and why I have no order status. Today, I wake up to an email that says there's a problem with my prescription, and that I need to send a photo of mine so they can make the necessary adjustments. First of all, there is no problem. I know that both sides have the same prescription, and I know that isn't normal. If this is out of the ordinary, then why was I not messaged immediately after placing my order to confirm? Why did my order have a message telling me they're waiting on a response, when they never asked me about the prescription to begin with? The wording of their email, once they finally got back to me, was rude, and assumed I wasn't putting in the order correctly. I emailed back with a copy of my prescription, explaining my disability and why I needed my order processed that way. I got no response. I then went to the live chat, which I previously tried to no avail. I waited forever, and nobody got on. I then tried calling their number, FOUR TIMES, before it didn't hang up on me at the 15 minute point exactly. On my 5th attempt, I got someone, and was so annoyed that I requested they cancel my order. The rep tells me it will take 3-10 business days to refund me. Why? My background is in the financial sector. It does not take 10 business days to return a credit onto a debit card. It can be done same day, just like it can be withdrawn immediately. An hour after I talk to the rep, I finally get a chat response and again request the order be cancelled. I explained the situation, yet nobody I engaged with seemed to care. To contrast, I just went to *****. I had a live chat going within 1 minute. I explained why I needed the same prescription for each lens, they gladly added it to my order notes, and they added the notation to my account so I never ran into issues ordering in the future. I am not normally one who ever makes complaints. In fact, I have never come to the BBB and posted a negative review of any place. But, the customer service and lack of representative availability with GlassesShop was horrendous. As a visually impaired person, I have to dictate almost everything I want to type. I need to have fonts as large as possible. If I am on a site like GlassesShop, where I cannot enlarge the font, I have to use a magnifying glass to navigate everything. I have to have devices read for me, or I need to use the magnifying glass. That is all frustrating enough, so add on awful customer service, no notification that they had questions about my order (just the "waiting for a response" link in my order status, with no explanation of what they are waiting on me to respond to), and you get a service nightmare, especially for someone who does not have the vision to easily navigate it all.

      I am extremely disappointed in the lack of service from this company. I only wish I had read these reviews before giving the my money. All of the literature states 2-3 days for the type of glasses I ordered. It has already been 10 and now the tell me it will be another 7-10 before they are even shipped. I would highly recommend shopping for your glasses somewhere else.

      The glasses are top-notch. The quality of the frames is very good. The clarity of the lenses is superb. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, plus they offer a nice discount. I highly recommend them. This is not my first pair it's my third pair. I am thrilled.
