Met with **** Wednesday May 31. Showed him what needed to be done.He accepted and said he would work up some numbers. Next day met him at *****'s in ********** ** showed handwritten material list along with labor cost. {$3000.00 total for a retaining wall. I agreed to and told him to write it write it up in contract form. Met him later that day at *****'s again he showed me a handwritten proposal. I wrote a check for $1500,00 for half and to buy materials. Said he would get some materials and be out Friday morning June 2nd. Friday no show, no call, and no check cashed.. talked to him on Saturday June 3rd. Said he was waiting for check to clear would be back Monday June 5th at 9am. Monday June 5th, Showed up at noon. No material and check was not cashed. Worked for 4hours removing old timbers. said he would be back June 6th at 9am. No show at 9 text me said he would be here around 11. check was cashed. Thats the last time I have heard from him. I have called several times. no answer to my calls. I have his business card and the proposal he signed, I do have business card and proposal on my phone do know how to transfer to my computer.
