On July 6, 2022, Trutech salesperson (*******) came to my home to give me An estimate for concrete coating of my 2 car garage . This was my fourth estimate. I had three other companies give me estimates.Salesperson examined the garage floor and took pictures of four areas of concern. He indicated that repairs could be done with mender.A contract was signed for $5283. A deposit of 40%, $2113. Trutech said I would need to remove all items in the garage and August 30, 2022 at 7:30 am the installation would be there to begin the one day process.On August 30, 7:45am, 2 men arrived with a generator and grinder. They began prepping the garage on two areas. They had concerns about an area that was cracked and proceeded to remove the previous coating to an of 6 x 4 inches of concrete. They said and took pictures to send to *******. They said they could not do the job and ******* would be in touch.Next day ******* called and said I would need new concrete before they could apply the coating.I got 2 estimates ($7680 & $7500)for new concrete in the garage in September. On September 6, I told **************** would not need the coatings with a new garage floor. He said my deposit plus $4095 would be the amount for the coating. I asked about a refund. He said I could get back $1451.85. He said there were$661.15 in fees. I challenged how those fees were derived. He said the office manager ,***** could give more info On September 12, 2022, I called ******* for refund. He said ***** would call me. By Thursday 9/15 I had not heard and sent an email through their website. I spoke to ***** who admin and labor was the basis for the amount. I disagree with the amount and feel the installers were there for an hour only.
