Was told the van they sold me was looked over my the best mechanics well drove it for a day and realized the van will not lock! Not even mechanically it wont lock at all! Then was told these mechanics only look over safety features and a car not being able to lock at all isnt a safety concern for them. I took it back to shop when it opened (aprox 2 days later!) and sat down with a man named ********************* who put pressure on me to make a decision right then and there. I had already been there for HOURS with 2 screaming children so I asked if I could have time to think about his offer (his offer was to spend 400 more to fix the locks) I asked if I could have a minute to think it over he said no the deal is off the table if I dont make a decision right then and there. I feel this man is predatory and saw I was already frazzled and put pressure on me to sign a paper right then with no time to even consider other options.Business response

********* and I have spoken and resolved this matter since she had made this complaint. She never spoke with me, it was someone else in our management team whom she felt that she was pressured from but I assured her that it was not intended the way she had taken it and I was able to get her issue resolved with a solution she was happy with.Initial Complaint

On 11/17/23 I bought a 2018 Jeep compass from here we noticed from smoke come from under the hood. We thought it was the rain or the exhaust system thats going to the car. I noticed antifreeze was low went to open up the reservoir and noticed somebody had pulled some stop leaks stuff in the radiatorBusiness response

Good Morning,
**** and *** are our Salesman that sold ****************** his vehicle. They have tried to help ****************** out but he refused to go to our Mechanic and
was using very vulgar language and mentioned he was getting an attorney and has also hung up on them more than once. It is extremely hard to help
out ****************** if he will not let us. He can call Brownstown Automotive at ************** they accept his Warranty.

Debt was assigned to an ex spouse in a court order and I am still being harassed.Business response

In response to the above complaint I need more information to respond. *****'s last name, Date of purchase, year, make, model and vehicle identification number. *****'s ex spouse's name would help also.

This so called used car dealership that says they care about customers doesnt care at all. They sold me a $3,650 warranty that doesnt do anything for my car. They told me that I can go anywhere with it, nope that was a lie.
