Just when you thought customer service and honesty couldn't get any worse, along comes Triangle Appliance repair. There is no doubt they are colluding with the Warranty companies that sign on with local retailers who sell appliances. Once the repair gets sent to Triangle or a company like them, since there's no accountability in this industry, the Warranty company and local repair company ping-pong the incident back and forth until the customer gets so frustrated they give up. This was our experience exactly with Triangle from Byron Center, MI and Warranty Tech. This awful experience undermines the perceived strength of manufacturer warranties and customer trust in manufacturers of important and expensive products. Increased governmental oversight is what they're beggin for; and when it happens, and they inevitably go out of business they'll cry government regulation as the reason why they failed. Unfortunately it's their incompentence that is their demise and this company should be investigated for, well what amounts to fraud basically.

Not sure how long Mr. ****** has been involved with our industry to know about our accountability obligations , or what the government has to do with this situation. Each warranty and/or extended warranty company has different protocols that we are obligated to follow. We don't make the rules BUT we have to follow them to obtain our contracts. We sure understand how frustrating having a 5 year old washer that isn't working and having multiple service calls in a short period of time can be. It isn't ideal for ANYONE involved but it does, unfortunately, happen from time to time. Not only is it inconveniencing the consumer, but our techs are sent out at no charge, as many times as it takes to complete the repair correctly. Back when the world was "normal", it could take some time to schedule, get parts needed, or get a replacement/refund of your broken appliance BUT add the "NEW NORMAL" hurdles and it all contributes to the breakdown of patience and human decency and automatically sends them to demean a company on any social media they have access to. We were TRYING to repair this washer. The appointment was dispatched to us for Monday January 3rd at which time we could not reach the customer. On Tuesday the 4th, the dealer called to ask why we didn't show up for the repair and was told we tried and we will try to contact them again. We did call and again had to leave a message. Mrs. called back after office hours and said if we couldn't reach her to try her husband, which our tech did on Wednesday. After a lengthy conversation with Mr. ******, the tech advised he would call the the factory tech line and call him back. Tech called Mr. and left another voicemail letting him know he had to order parts and would call once they came in. On Thursday the 6th Mrs. called and left a message stating we had an appointment for that day and we never showed and proceeded to relay, in great length and detail, how unhappy she was with us. So at this point, we felt it was just better to allow a different service company to try and accommodate the ******s and hopefully resolve their ongoing issue. There was NO colluding, NO dishonesty and NO fraud, just doing what we thought best for this situation. Not sure we would have been in business for 40+ years being as deceptive as Mr. ****** claims.
