I paid over the phone $109 in Mid-Oct. when I gave *************************, at Terminex, my credit card info. She said they'd sent a bill to *********** (*********************, **********************************************) where there is NO Mailbox! When I set up this *******, I gave them my email, phone number, and HOME address (**************************************************************************************************) for billing! ***** confirmed that ******* was set for 11-10-23 **** pm at ***********. When it got close to the end of that time, I called Terminex. ***** said the ******* was cancelled without notice to me and that the payment (***** confirmed was made) was NEVER applied by ********'s employee! We drove over 6 hours to shut down our seasonal cottage for the winter, immediately following our *******. This is not acceptable! Did they turn the bill over to a credit/collection place?! If so, I want ALL of that information and written confirmation that they corrected this immediately! 11-10-23, I gave ***** my information AGAIN! He said he would email me the invoice for the August ******* that ***** confirmed I'd paid in mid-October! I must NOW check all of my credit card statements to ensure NO fraud was committed by ********'s employee who took my credit card info. over the phone in mid-October and who claimed she'd set up our ******* for today. This is a horrible mess Terminex has caused us. Why didn't they call me if there was any issue, rather than just cancelling our ******* and sending a BILL to a place that has NO MAILBOX?! I need receipts for the *******s we have paid for ($159 for the first *******) and any subsequent *******, as well as confirmation that this mess their employee caused is ALL corrected! Their ******* technician, *******, was wonderful and so was ***** (who I spoke with today), but this ***** character has become a nightmare! What assurances will Terminex provide to us that their employee, who took my credit card info., did not do so in an effort to commit potential fraud?!

I have been a customer of ********************** West ********************** for over 20 years. The pattern of service is that the technician will call and confirm date of service with me to ensure I will be home. Last October, a fellow, claiming to be Terminix showed up at my door on 10/3/2022 for service. I had had the same technician for 20 years. This person was not my technician. He said that ****** had left the company. He was new, I let him in for service, but told him, and then called into the corporate office that I did not want anyone coming out unless they had talked to me first. They agreed to this stipulation. On January 11, 2023 - I got a call from my neighbor saying that there was a Terminix truck in my driveway with someone in it. I immediately emailed and called Terminix to tell them to leave my driveway at once. My neighbors watched them, ring my doorbell, and then drive away. Since then, I have written communication, as well as calls to Terminix - speaking with managers and phone techs telling them not to come to my house unless I approve their appointment. In speaking with *****, the manager there, he agreed that this would be the case. In confirmed that the technicians were not calling my number to confirm both the October and the January visits. He confirmed that they had used the wrong numbering detail to place calls to strangers. He agreed that no one would be visiting unless I called to make an appointment in the future. Now, what I have is the constant billing for this January non-visit. I called today, June 13, 2023 to be told by *******, the service manager that I would need to pay that bill or they would be ruining my credit. I told him that no service was rendered...he didn't care - his new technician had put bogus information on the work order and ******* had said that this was billable. When I called into the ******* corporate office, they have no record of me, my address, my phone number, my name, my account number, in their records, at all.

On July 1, 2022, I signed a 6-month Service Warranty for bedbugs which covered the initial Inspection/Treatment as well as necessary follow-**** I believe the initial treatment was July 28th. Then, we have had a total of four follow up treatments. I believe the first follow up was August 12th. The other three I am not sure of when they happened. The problem has been all along is with the scheduling manager, *******. He does not return phone calls unless I get firm with my phone messages and basically ignores texts. I generally have to call two or three times to get something scheduled. The gestation period for bedbugs is 10 days, I have been told that they legally can come out every 14 days, which would have been fine if that had happed. There have been several times when the span has been three to four weeks. I have accommodated their schedule by going into work or leaving early. I called to get another appointment scheduled by leaving a message for *******, then his boss and going through my last service technician. ******* put us on the schedule for November 18th but no one informed us. I found out with my third phone call to them. I could not accommodate their schedule due to a funeral. I asked ******* if the technician could come in the afternoon but was told no and he would remove me from the schedule, check the schedule for the following week and get back to me. I am still waiting for that phone call. In the meantime, we still have bugs.

Terminix got my 90-year old mother to sign a two-year contract for services she did not understand. She needed attic vents sealed against squirrels, and a mouse infestation in the basement addressed. She also had seen a few ants in the kitchen. She had not seen any evidence of termite activity. The inspection was June 1. Later that day, they emailed a copy of the contract. She'd evidently signed something in the presence of the inspector, but hadn't seen the actual contract. After reading, she emailed them back saying she couldn't make sense of it: "I would like it to tell me exactly what will be done." Before she received any clarification, on June 2 they sent a technician out, who placed termite & ant bait stations around the perimeter. When she asked about the attic vents and the situation in the basement, he told her they were not part of the contract. The mice and squirrels, however, were her main concern. She signed something, evidently this contract, believing the attic vents (not the entire attic, just sealing the vents) and the mice in the basement would be dealt with. Indeed, the contract does not include fixing the attic vents, or treating the interior of the basement, but she believed it did. The contract also specifies "preventative" termite treatment, which was not a concern, though I can imagine that the rather small issue of ants in the kitchen provided the opportunity for a big upsell. I called Terminix to cancel the contract, because her two main concerns were not being addressed and there was no evidence to indicate the need for extensive termite treatment. They told me they would hold her to the contract, because she'd signed it, and according to the manager, "she knew what she was signing." Friday, June 3, when I called her, I found her in a lot of distress over the situation, paying out a lot of money for services that wouldn't address what she called them in for.

Termite stations have not been inspected for many months. Termite stations were to be replaced this fall and have not been. Many calls have been made to office and was promised a call back and have never gotten a call back. Now cannot get through to a representative.
