I would give them no stars if I could. I ordered two slabs and was specific on both. The first came in damaged because the packaging was poor. Instead of having them spend money on shipping back, repair, then ship back to me, I said I would repair it myself to save them the shipping costs.Second slab, they decided to bypass my order request, sent a slab that is outright ugly, charged me $800, never communicated with me about large voids and using liquid glass. When I contacted them regarding the piece and that I did not want this and would like a full refund, I was basically told something is wrong with me and I should love this piece as people ask for that type all time. I replied and said I do not like nor do I want it for $800, and want a refund. I have never received a response. I reached out via Etsy, their website contact form, and via their text line. So beware - they will take your money!1/13/23 UPDATE: The owner personally emailed me to tell me I was the problem and out for personal gain so I would have to talk to their **************** going forward. Great **************** again! They showed me inferior pictures of pieces for what I requested, when I did not agree that I would take one of those - I was bullied by the owner to basically go away. The great thing is that I am beyond familiar with interstate commerce because I have been doing that for 25 years! If you find yourself in the same situation with these goons, do not listen nor be afraid, they are not correct. But the easiest thing to do is talk to your credit card company - they will handle deceptive business practices for you free of charge. Once again - stay away from this business.Initial Complaint

I ordered and paid for a custom table from Makarios on January 26, 2022 for the amount of $4,684. As of June 4th, it still has not been delivered going on 5 months later. Additionally, the company has ignored dozens of texts, calls, and emails where I have attempted to get an update on the deliver date. The few times they have responded, they have attributed it to supply chain issues for the glass and promised to keep me up to date and then I don't hear from them again without having to reach out multiple times. They have also given me completely inaccurate information including claiming my table would ship that same day (on 03/30/22) when it wasn't even built yet. Due to the horrible communication, I have requested to cancel my order and get a refund but my request is going unacknowledged. Details of the interaction are attached. My goal is to recover the funds I paid for the undelivered table ASAP.
