Had a rather poor body shop experience. Claim made through AAA in March 2022 and work was done but not to my satisfaction. After several visits, most of the work was completed satisfactorily (**** was very helpful). In June of 2022 we discovered air leaks on front and rear passenger side windows on the repair side and **** ordered parts. A change was made in managers and the parts were returned and when I inquired they were re-ordered in a timely manner. The rear window was repaired but the front still had an air leak. I did not pursue at that time because I was just tired of running back and forth. In November 2022 I was riding in the passenger seat when we went through a car wash. I got soaked. I called the body shop manager (*****) and suggested I take the car elsewhere to get the repair since I had had no luck with their dealership and have the bill sent to Matt ********************** since AAA had already paid the claim in full. He became angry and hung up on me. I called Matt **********************. He returned my call the next day and pretty much blew me off. I have called again and left messages but no return calls. They are a AAA designated shop and I am supposed to have a one year guarantee. I have reported them to AAA and AAA is graciously working with me but as of today, no resolution.Business response

I have spoke ************ a few times He has been here in last week or so and the adjust has been made to his vehicle and he was happy and sent an email to that effect I just checked with my body shop manger to confirm He has since called and feels a slight wind noise but he hasnt been able to come back yet but he is being well taking care of thank youCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: **** LaFontaine actually has not spoken with me at all. He has now sold the dealership so maybe service will get better. A new body shop manager is in place and he seems good to work with but the problem still persists. I have confidence in the new body shop manager, though, and believe it will eventually get resolved.

Not sure what to do not only did I speak to by phone but also exchanged emails last email was a thank you for referring him to *********** shop manager ********; the car came in for an adjustment and he was taking it through a carwash to double check please let me know what we need to do
when i spoke to *** again he said he still heard a noise and once his schedule permitted he was going to bring back in please let me know
So saying he has never spoke to me is untrue

I am rejecting this response because:there is really no reason now to pursue. Car still not fixed but going back in tomorrow. **** is not being truthful but I no longer care. He and his ***************** are awful people and not to be trusted. The dealership has been sold so there is no issue to pursue with Matt LaFontaine Ford. Hopefully, there will be significant improvements with the new owner. I guess it can't get worse. No further action on BBB"s part needed.
