See Attached word document for complete details of my complaint: BBBcomplaint.docx On June 18, 2023, $785.18 was paid to Vrbo to reserve a stay at the B&B named Green Tree Loft in *************. The dates reserved were Sept 7, 8, 9 of 2023. Upon arrival September 7, the facility was deemed unacceptable and unsafe. We attempted to cancel the stay but both **** and the Owner of the B&B refused my refund request citing their cancellation policy. The request was made inside the 14 day cancellation period. After reviewing my complaint, **** deemed the apartment "inhabitable", refused my refund request and referred me to the owner to negotiate a settlement. The owner has refused to honor my refund request stating I made unprofessional complaints about her facility. She determined this by listening to a private conversation captured on her video camera system. My goal is to document the unsafe conditions of her facility hoping this will motivate her to make much needed repairs. I additionally hope that she will honor my reasonable request for a full refund.
