Contractor was to repair chimney and install an exterior damper. He told me that he would be finished that day so I wrote a check for balance. Later he told me the damper he ordered wouldn't fit and he would reorder that was over a month ago. Contractor does not return phone calls or text messages.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/19) */ Contact Name and Title: Absolute Maintenance-MSR Contact Phone: 5179931508 Contact Email: [email protected] Absolute Maintenance was in contact with the client on 10/18/2021 to reimburse for the cost of the damper and agreed to do the installation at no cost to the client. Absolute Maintenance agreed to do the installation on 10/20/2021. Unfortunately, Absolute Maintenance is unable to control stock of items and if an item is on backorder, we need to wait for it to be in stock. We are always willing to look at alternative solutions and suppliers for every client when necessary. Regarding the communication concerns, the client also had access to contact information for the Administrative Assistant, which was not utilized during the communications, nor was the email for Absolute Maintenance utilized which is monitored by the Administrative Assistant daily. Absolute Maintenance provides every client with contact information for the Administrative Assistant as well as the Masonry Restoration Specialist, so the client has more than one person to communicate with if needed. Absolute Maintenance is always willing to go above and beyond for every client based on their needs.
