      In January of 2023 my insurance company sent ServPro of Eaton County to clean up after my house fire. They came for the first week or two like they were supposed to. Then they kept making excuses to not come out and would only send one tech one day a week for a few hours. I finally was able to get an itemized bill statement from them and it was extremely fraudulent. Many false charges and fabricated charges. The amount of hours they billed for is exorbitant for the amount of time they were actually here. As well as how long it took them to return my things. They charged for 40 yard dumpsters when they only used 20 yard. They charged for a leather chair we never had and still dont have. They sealed and marked boxes as clean but the contents were all dirty, including my clothing they charged for cleaning but wasnt cleaned. I have video and photographic evidence. They also said they brought in and used a hydroxyl generator but they definitely didnt do that or spray anything for fumes. Many of the things that were marked as total loss and supposed to be thrown away were not in the dumpsters because we looked through them. They wrapped, packaged, marked and boxed broken porcelain dolls. Among many other ridiculous things I have on a list. This whole experience has been a traumatic nightmare during the most traumatic time of our lives. We lost almost everything in our house fire and ServPro caused us so much heartache, anxiety, and stress. I dont want them to ever be allowed to do this to anyone else, and I feel like they owe me a lot of money back, and then some to be honest.

      Servpro of Charlotte employs untrustworthy employees who removed 400+ items from our basement, only HALF WERE WET AND FROM THE FLOODED AREA, when they were to clean up after a pipe broke. We, my 70 year old husband and I, 71 recovering from total knee replacement only 3 months before July 11, 2021 the event date shop vaced up ALL of the water the night of July 11, BEFORE SERVPRO HAD EVEN STARTED WE WERE HAULING WATER IN BUCKETS UPSTAIRS UNTIL 3AM, WE PUT FANS ON, AND BOUGHT A 4TH DEHUMIDIFIER.. Their employees came in 10 DAYS LATER with the attitude that THEY'D decide what needed to be removed. However, they were at our house for 3 days and NEVER removed the huge pile of wet furniture, wet clothing I specifically showed them to remove first. Instead, they searched through our belongings and decided what they were going to take!!! Not wet or even in the flooded area. Most were on garment racks in the other room.We told them that repeatedly. But they staged the entire thing, fully intending to steal from us. And so again, since they LEFT wet clothing and bedding and soggy boxes on the floor on Friday, my husband and I hauled 20+ heavy bags and furniture up to the driveway, again DOING THEIR WORK THEY WERE PAID FOR! They showed up UNANNOUNCED Monday morning and saw that we had brought the items outside. So for 2-1/2 hours, these women (with one high schooler and one in college) just hauled out in black trash bags, in plastic bins, all of the clothing, working coffee makers, bins of personal items, new with tags underwear and bras that were not ever wet, anything they decided to take and more. They then quickly said they were done. I asked to see the photographs of what they took and Heather said we needed to sign her tablet so her office could release them, but she TOOK THE PUCTURES ON THAT TABLET! And it tooks weeks of repeatedly calling and no returned calls until my husband called Katie to demand it. Finally sending it through the mail (slowest possible, not email)! Once we started searching our basement that they moved everything around and did not return things to the same place to confuse us and make it harder to figure out. It took our insurance adjuster to send the list, which we had to keep adding items IN THEIR PHOTOHRAPHS to the list along side of what they TOOK. We aren't finished yet. Plus our basement floors WERE NOT properly cleaned. We've found wet magazines and molding bags shoved under other things or never touched at all.They left a wet box on top of a rosewood antique desk and left it there to ruin the finish. This has been a nightmare. Noone should have to endure this dishonesty and poor clean up, especially since they got paid $4400 within 48 hours! I will never be able to replace what was taken, as these were heirlooms from my deceased parents and sterling silver pieces from Mexico my husband has bought for me while on our annual church mission trips. My health doesn't permit me to go on another trip either. Servpro of Charlotte has had a Customer Complaint report through their corporate offices in Tennessee as well as a police report for the thefts with Ingham County Police Department. Our community does not need dishonest merchants in our area. Terry K****, the franchise owner, has refused to return our calls. DO NOT EVER USE SERVPRO OF CHARLOTTE.
