Roof replacement was completed in late December. They did a great job, but there was some damage. Damage has been worked on, but smashed gutters have not been addressed. I have been talking to them since early April. The last I heard from them was 2 1/2 weeks ago. They were supposed to do the repair on May 13 or 14 and did not show. Haven't heard anything from them since. I have talked to the owner at least 6 times and all I get is "thanks for understanding". I do not understand! It should not be my responsibility to do all of their follow-up work. I suggested that they contract the company that did the gutters originally, but they want to use their own guy. It's almost 6 months now since the roof was completed.Business response

Regarding the attached complaint, we have completed all repairs ( 2 weeks ago) and have asked the customer (**********) to withdraw the complaint.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. The work has finally been completed as they noted. Repairs were completed almost six months after the roof was completed. Repairs were completed after numerous calls and e-mails with the owner which began on my part in April. I do not believe that they would be completed yet if I hadn't contacted the BBB. Once I entered the BBB complaint the work was completed and the owner quickly began urging ne to close the issue. I am closing the issue with the same sense of urgency that I was given. Thank you, Better Business Bureau!

Clarkston roofing did a roof on my house installed bad shingles and bad installment of the shingles. didn't flash the chimney .and did damage to house when installing the shingles. the deck on the front of the house. damage the cover of the generator, electric box and the trim around the windows and doors. got parts of shingles and nails behind the fashia . so I could not put the gutters **. ** witch I got damage to my basementBusiness response

Per our conversation this morning regarding the below complaint, we are listing our responses to this complaint:
1. The customer is currently working with the shingle manufacturer ( ***** Corning) to replace his roof for free due to a manufacturing defect of the shingles that we put on his home.
2. The customer informed us, **********************, in November of 2021, that he no longer wanted us on his property to finish the needed repairs.
3. We were very willing and able to do whatever it took to make ******************** a happy customer but were unable to do this if he would not allow us on his property.
4. Should ******************** change his mind and allow us to finish the needed repairs, we are more than willing to do so.
