1 starPlatinum Skin Care is Unethical!Platinum Skin Care appears to have glowing reviews in their online group and I was almost bought the whole line of products until I saw the group admin's removing any negative reviews from their group! One member asked for advice after a bad reaction and when I went to read the comments, the post had been removed! When I reached out to inquire about the post being removed, I was told by the admin that the group rules only allow positive reviews! No wonder they have such glowing reviews. I won't purchase products from a company I can't trust. I can't help but wonder how many people have had a bad reaction and were just silenced from speaking out!Review fromCaitlin D

Terrible customer service. Discriminate against members on their ******** page. I requested to be added to the private page and was denied so I had to email them and let them know with a copy of my receipt that I am a paying customer who would like to be added to the group. And than was added. This happened more than once. I delete and make new ******** accounts daily just with a random name because I used to be in a domestic violence relationship and was able to escape and I dont want anyone from my past to find me. So unfortunately my ******** page only has a random FOREIGN name. After being added I looked at the members and some were CAUCASION names and had nothing on their ******** page. I tried to ask a question about their products with a picture of their products. And within 20 minutes my post was deleted. The question I asked was the bottle I had for a while was discolored but not opened and if it was okay to use it or if it had expired with a picture of their product. And my entire post was deleted. Unfortunately I will not be buying any products from them anymore. I am not sure if I was Discriminated against because my ******** name was foreign or not Discriminated against. I don't even know the reason why my post was deleted. It was a question and did not go against any of their rules.Platinum Skin Care

Hello. This seems to be an issue with a post on a ************** page. *** PlatinumSkinCare.com or the company Platinum Skin Care at all. We feel this is unjust and should be removed - or posted with our responses and should NOT affect our A+ rating for our website. *Upon searching we also cannot find this Name or Email in our FB Group or in our Shopping Cart. The reviewer states that they change names often - but it should still be related to the issue at hand here - but is not. Since I cannot find the reviewer's name in our group - I cannot find the deleted post either. If I could - I could at least state why it was removed. As it stands... it would be only because it was against our *************** rules. *We have almost ****** members in our ***************. They are of all denominations. There is no one that is excluded for ANY reason. All are welcome as long as they follow the rules. It "sounds" as if you had an order question. If that was the case, your post would have been Answered - stating to contact ******************************* and then closed for further commenting. **Generally the Only posts that are Deleted/Account banned are SPAM. Spam is mostly videos where if one of our members CLICKS it ... they could be lead to a page where their information would be compromised. They are instantly deleted when seen and the person who posted is Banned/and all future accounts Banned. ***A post may also be deleted if it is a photo of another company's product, and/or a link off of our group. We are here to help OUR customers. You may always message another member directly - if you wish to go to another site. 1. We will allow you in the group automatically IF you have had an account for at least 1 month on FB and you have a photo in your FB profile. It does not have to be Your face - just a photo. You also must also answer a Question. The answer to this question is in our (very short) rules section. **If you are continuously creating new accounts with random names... they may *** have been 1 month old and thus, FB would have automatically denied your entry into our group. Reaching out to state you have purchased doesn't change the fact that your ******** account was not old enough to warrant entry into the group. At 1 month ... you can attempt it again and be automatically entered. 2. Many false accounts do not have a photo and it is a FB scanning tool that allows/disallows this depending on our personal settings. We try very hard to not allow spam in our group - and that is why we have steps to join and a Question to answer. -------------RULES AS POSTED ON THE PLATINUM SKIN CARE GURU GROUP-----------------1. After watching their videos on what to use for a body peel, I tried tca 30 on my back. The results caused so much post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I should have never used this product. The scars I was treating were so minimal compared to the issues this peel has caused. Never using this line of skincare products ever again.Platinum Skin Care

Hello. TCA 30 is a stronger peel that definitely has warnings on the page. The most important is depending on your skin's natural coloring. The darker the skin - the lighter the acid % needs to be. Along with that, the use of a melanin inhibitor for 4+ weeks must be used prior to applying the peel solution. I am unsure of your skin's coloring (*********** is 1-6 with anything an Olive or darker requiring mandatory prep), or how Wet you applied the acid, how many Layers ... There are many factors. We do try to make these warnings very prominent on our website - and even as you select the % on the product page - Red Warnings will appear to guide you away from this percentage - and/or give you advice on what/who this is good for. I am unsure if you read that over? What we can do here is treat the **** Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation happens anytime the skin gets inflamed. A pimple can leave ***, scrapes ... bruises ... and absolutely acids. This (***) is a temporary darkening of the skin. It can be treated with the same Prep that is recommended prior to a TCA peel. A melanin inhibitor 1-2x per day and sun avoidance. Our Fade Bright has 4% alpha arbutin, retinoids, azelaic and kojic acids. If you can find something that contains those ingredients or Hydroquinone .. then use that daily until the *** fades. This will take a few months of daily application - but it is generally Not permanent. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need any further help or suggestions. Very responsive company. I have been using their products for years. If you have a question, they respond (even the owner) in a timely manner. Owner not only sells a product, but she provides excellent videos as well as live periodic question and answer forums. Additionally, there is a ******** page that is monitored by the company. The only negative experience I have had was on the ******** page but this was NOT the companies fault. (There are, unfortunately, just vicious people that like to comment on everything. I should not have asked a question publicly. In doing so, I set myself up for the snarkiness.) I highly recommend them for the high quality products as well as responsiveness!Platinum Skin Care

The product I ordered and paid for never came. I was never notified of when it shipped I had to reach out to the company to find out where my product went! Then I was informed if I didn't have their insurance and was out of luck their email states " they have no recource". I went to my order on their website and there is no updated info on it .. if it even shipped .. a customer can't even check on the order/delivery status. You are pretty much on your own to get your money back because your product somehow never gets to you. So they have my money and I have no product.Platinum Skin Care

Hello. I do see an email going back and forth in our customer service: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jan 05 5:20pm This order was delivered on December 23 at front door. A notification was sent on the day it shipped. A notification was sent on the day it delivered. If you did not receive it at that time, we request that you file a claim immediately with Route insurance. Please choose a Full Replacement as your method of claim. If you choose a Refund it will only be for the price of the items. If you removed your insurance at checkout, I am sorry but we will not have any recourse. Please see here: I removed Route insurance and now my package is lost what can I do? Very best, Jen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We utilized Route Insurance at this time, and it was automatically added to each customer's shopping cart. *There is always a FEE for insurance. With Route, we could not add it "into" the shipping charges... so, we had it separately add to your cart. With your order total (3%) it was $6.36. We do understand that no one "wants" to pay for insurance, so we had a very large notice on the Cart and Checkout page warning from removing it. It stated that if you removed the Insurance, you had the right to do so, but you were then accepting the loss if one were to occur. It also stated that you would not hold Platinum Skin Care liable, request a refund or a replacement if you removed it. Since you removed the fee, that was why we could not just send a replacement to you. If we started doing that then everyone would just remove the coverage and expect it to be taken care of. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You responded that you did not receive your package and that you do not wish to buy our insurance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning we responded: Jan 06 08:06 am Hello. First lets do a big sweep. When packages are scanned delivered, they are usually there - but something happened. 1. Check your entire outer perimeter. By garages. Side doors. Under chairs and rockers. We have also had a customer find her package in her flower bed. 2. Also check with direct neighbors in case it was delivered there 3. Ask everyone in your household if they have seen it. Check coat closets and other areas that another member may have placed a package. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After this email we had not heard back from you, and thus assumed that you had located it with a relative or a neighbor. *This is a Very common instance. Most times it is accidentally delivered to an immediate neighbor. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As of this point in time, we are utilizing a different brand of insurance, and we are now able to just add that INTO everyone's shipping charges. It is a negligible amount and this alleviates the issue of someone removing coverage - and then having something happen to their package.Review fromB. P.

Hello. We do not have an account on our website with any orders with this email address. I did do some digging and found this email that has a different email address/name. The "gist" of our string of emails is that we filed an insurance claim for you for a Stolen Package that was covered by Route Insurance. **They do a Very good job of getting things handled for the customer. It is just your choice if you want a Product Refund or a Replacement package sent. ***They requested some information From you. You did not answer them and so they closed the case. We encouraged you to please respond to them so that they can send you a replacement. You did not do so and chose to be angered with us. As we got to January ... we figured out that your email address had a TYPO in it. *A wrong year it was (not 1981 which you had created your account with.... but 1983). That was why you were not receiving their/Route Insurance's emails properly. I had them update it so they could reach you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dec 21 02:49 pm Hello. This was not originally sent to our support email. I am updating your order information for the support person at [email protected] that will handle this. It looks as though a Claim was submitted with the Route Insurance company regarding an order not arrived/stolen. It is in the Approval/Research status with them. It has been Escalated. The claim is for $4.50 *(Original order $4.50 + shipping) Route will respond very soon. We do apologize if they are delayed. It has been Black Friday time and they may be behind. Jen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dec 30 02:07 pm This is a follow-up to your previous request #14203 "Re: Should be USA" Hi, What is the status on this refund or Reshipment? When I last emailed you on the 21st I spoke of Route contacting you. Please find the email. Do a search for Route.com and respond to that. They are the ones that will give you the refund. Let’s clarify things a little! They requested some information From me, and I answered them right away. As you can probably tell, I am on top of my stuff. You encouraged me to please respond to them so that they can send you a replacement and I did and let you guys know what I did not get a response. You told me to reach out again, and I did and nothing. Shall I pull up the emails? Yes, at point I thought this might be some sort of fraudulent business and yes I was frustrated. Hello Jeff, I am looking back and forth over our interactions. All very pleasant with a total of 9 separate emails of us replying to you. I did search through our [email protected] Cases for your name/email. There were none. I also looked at your order, and there was not a note sent to us on that. So, if you sent one another way (text/message/chat/?), we apologize but we did not get it. We respond to 100% of the emails customers send in to us. The only time there would not be a response - is if we never received it. I see you purchased a TCA 13 peel from us in October of 2022. We received a Negative Review on our website - which prompted us to reach out to you via email to see if we could assist. It stated: " I emailed support several times. No response. I applied the product (10%). in three layers the first time. Five, the 2nd try. No reaction". As I stated. There are 18 emails, 9 from us and the rest as your responses. Here is a brief excerpt of our first few: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- jennifer Nov 19 07:59 pm Hello Jeff, You applied a peel in 10% 3 layers to your face. Then 2 layers? I see you purchase the 13% TCA. Can you tell me... did you: Wash the face well with a deep or preferable acid based cleanser? Glycerin bars, lotion soaps etc... leave film on the skin. **I saw that you had purchased lidocaine. That must be wiped off and washed VERY VERY well prior to stripping the skin and applying the acid. If you left any residue on... that would definitely hinder the acid's penetration - and your results. Strip the skin with Prep B or 90% alcohol or Acetone. If this is not done the peel may not penetrate properly in the skin. Apply a wet enough layer to the skin. If the acid is applied too dry - it will be a very light peel. Not enough acid for the skin to react with. Did you wait 5 minutes in between each layer? If you did not wait 5 minutes and just immediately wiped over your next "layers" you aren't really adding more on. Give it time to react... then REWET the gauze and apply a 2nd layer at that time frame. If all of these steps were followed and you applied 3 layers you should have received some flaking within 7-10 days. Generally 3-4 days for the skin to dry and another 3-5 for flaking to happen. Now... everyone is different. If your skin is Very tough.. or you have been doing peels for many years... OR ... you did not follow the steps that I laid out above you may not be getting the results you are wanting. Please try it again... following all steps I have stated. Very best, Jen -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Nov 20 01:34 pm To:platinum skin careShow more Jennifer You look great with your hair down, parted in the middle. I digress.. Writing me back is appreciated. 1. I didn’t not use lidocaine. It burned a bit but I didn’t need it . Is a deep cleanser two days in a row going to make that much of a difference? I am a male who washes his face adequately. I work in tv and do have some cover up to remove. 5 layers should have penetrated enough regardless. Indefinitely waited at least five minutes between layers. I have never done a peel before this. I will try once more. Thanks Jeff ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nov 20 02:11 pm Hi there. Thank you BTW. :) Some things: Using acids and retinoids daily help to thin out the thickened layers of dead skin and prime your skin for a peel. A couple of days isn't going to do much of anything... it will be a matter of weeks here. It actually is a very important step to performing peels and getting great results. Those that do not use exfoliating acids/retinoids on a daily basis can end up with a "compacted stratum corneum" and that can be hard to penetrate through. It could take a few times to get through that. So... .definitely start using retinoids and acid daily. Just the Revitalizing cleanser alone for a few weeks could help that ... especially with men's skin *which tends to be a bit thicker/sturdier. AH... yes... makeup layers require more scrubbing for sure. I highly want to stress the Revitalizing cleanser WITH a scrubby pad every day. You know the 3 pack at the dollar store or grocery store? They are bright colors ... let me find a link: https://www.amazon.com/Microfiber-Facial-Scrubbers-Random-Colors/dp/B013LIGL50/ref=asc_df_B013LIGL50/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312078624898&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12153694738110408998&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016811&hvtargid=pla-569300415042&psc=1 These are EXCELLENT. Put a pump of cleanser on there and wash every night to get that off. Then 3-4x a week use Fusion A .15 to help start turning over that skin more quickly. Retinoids are VERY very helpful and are also very anti-aging and pore clearing. They shed the inner pore-lining and tighten pores. #1 here for great skin. Then just have a good moisturizer to apply night and day and you are good. It doesn't take much to really have smooth, glowing skin. If you use the cleanser and retinoids for 1 month... then do a peel... I guarantee you will have better results. NOW... I do want to state (as I have before) some people just have tougher skin and you may be one of them. The 20% may be a need for your skin. That is OK and some people are there. So you can do one of 2 things. Apply MORE... WETTER layers of the TCA 13. You don't "have" to stop at 5. It isn't magic. Apply more if you wish to use up your solution. 7 layers... Move up to the 20% and start with 1-2 layers. Very best, Jen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Really just more friendly back and forth. Thanking me for my advice and skin care knowledge. Tips on moving forward, retinoid usage ... I am not sure why the negative review here OTHER THAN when you sent your original email/text/chat/? to us and we did not receive it to reply? Is it possible you headed over here at that point instead of giving us a call? We are glad that we were able to see your Review and then reach out to YOU that way to open the conversation. We hope all is well.
