I hired MNM Construction to do a complete tear off and reroof my home on September 27th, 2021. I gave them more than half down on a $9000 project. The materials were delivered at the end of October. They told me they would be out the first week of November and did not. They then told me the guys would be out on Friday Nov 12th and no one showed. After that, the owner ***** called to say they would be out no later than Saturday November 20th. The company did not show up then either. They finally came to do the job on November 21st in the rain. They caused the decking to get wet and the put ice guard and shingles over everything they got wet. They left me with uneven bumpy shingles. I assumed they would be back out to finish the job and they did not come back out right away. I was contacted early December by ****** from MNM construction who stated the job was all set and was calling for the rest of the payment. I explained my concerns about the looks of the roof, how they were uneven and bumpy. My husband then went into the attic space to check to see if they replaced the rotten boards, to find they did not. This was also addressed with the company. I told the company I wanted the roof redone as we don't know what else was missed after the tear off. The company refused, but agreed to have someone come out. After more research, we found out Dec 3rd, MNM construction did not pull a permit with the City to even do the work in the first place so I demanded a permit to be pulled before anything else was done. A permit with the city was pulled on Dec 6th. The roof is leaking water into the attic space which has caused mold to spread throughout the entire attic. I told them, I have proof this mold was not there before. I had a mold remediation company come out on Dec 18th and they confirmed the mold has spread everywhere and even my insulation is soaked at this point. I need a new roof, new insulation, and the mold to be treated properly by an expert at this point.
