Home Medics Massager model ****************************************************************************************************************** was a $69.99 coupon to get another one. The company wants me to submit the date code when I have submitted everything else they asked for plus the picture of my bunt wrist is not good enough nor do they care that I got burnt this could have been way worse I could have had this product on my bed or on my leg all they want to do is give me a coupon.HoMEDICS, Inc. This is in response to the customer review from ***************************.****************** contacted a Consumer Relations Representative on February 12, 2024, stating that she was not interested in compensation and just wanted to make Homedics aware of the issue that occurred. ****************** was informed that this product was recalled in 2017 and was informed to discontinue use of the product and to file for the recall remedy on Homedics.com. On February 13, 2024, ****************** submitted incomplete information to obtain the recall remedy credit coupon of $69.99. To date, ****************** has not provided ** with the date code of the product to determine if it complies with the recall requirements.Review from Cecelia L

HoMedics had a recall on the ****715 Massager. I submitted the recall (it was accepted online, and followed the directions to dispose of the unsafe product. I received an email telling me I was denied because the pictures does not align with the examples outlined during the submission process. I have requested numerous times for Corporate to review my submission and respond, but have not been contacted. HoMedics sells an unsafe product and refuses to make good on the recall. Thank you for notifying us of this review regarding the Consumer ************** Commission/HoMedics Therapist Select Percussion Personal Massager recall.To proceed with the recall remedy, consumers must submit three required photos:1. Clear image displaying the entire product with the Homedics Logo visible.2. Clear image of the sticker on the underside of the product's barrel, showing the model number and date code.3. Clear image showing the consumer's name and date written on the massager, along with the electrical cord completely severed.These photos serve as documentation confirming ownership of the affected product and its rendered unusable state. Failure to provide sufficient evidence will result in the rejection of the remedy request.In this instance, the consumer failed to provide a photo demonstrating the complete severance of the electrical cord, and a photo showing the consumers name and date written on the massager. We kindly urge the consumer to resubmit the required information promptly to facilitate the review process. This is in response to the customer review from ***********************.****************** placed an order on our website using a discount code and Affirm credit for payment on November 26, 2023, at 9:30pm. At 9:42pm of the same day, ****************** sent an email stating he had an additional coupon code that he wanted on the order but could not find a way to add it. On November 27, 2023, at 10:17am, the consumer called and spoke to a Consumer Relations Representative who explained that you can only use one code per order. In addition, the consumer requested to pay for the order in full, but the order had already been processed with Affirm credit, so the consumer was directed to contact them. Later in the day on November 27, 2023, at 2:22pm, the consumer called again and spoke to a representative complaining that he has been told by Affirm that we are holding his order for 20 days while his account was set up. Furthermore, the consumer claims we are sending him emails stating it will take 30 days to process his loan. The representative explained the order was just received yesterday and it is being processed. She explained that it can take 5 to 7 business days for you to receive your order. Also, whatever emails you are receiving, they do not come from Homedics. Finally, on November 28, 2023, at 8:57am, the consumer once again spoke to a representative who informed him that his order has shipped and can expect delivery by the end of the day November 29, 2023.Review from Alistair F

I purchased a $ 138 massage gun ion 11 April. In July it began to malfunction and I emailed them on 20/7 but got no response (there is no publicly available number to call). A week later it became inoperable ans again on 32 July I emailed them with all of the details and again there was stony silence. Then they had the gall to ask me to review the product Id purchased from them, and when I explained in my review what had happened they told me that my review wouldnt be published because it didnt meet the website guidelines (presumably because it wasnt a positive review!). Then in a fit of desperation I posted about this issue on ******** and again there was stony silence. So this will be the 5th time Ive posted about their faulty product and I still have not heard from them. To be sure, they offer ZERO customer / after sales service for a faulty product. 2 ***** ago I bought an air purifier from bed Bath and beyond because I had a $70 gift card that was going to lose all of its value if I didnt buy something this week. I dont like bed Bath and beyond because their prices are ridiculously inflated. Still better than throwing the money in the garbage I thought. Bought an air purifier from home medics had it on after reading all the instructions did everything. The instruction said to do in a small bedroom over 24 hours. It did nothing. I could not return to the store because were going out of business. I wont take returns so I called the manufacturer. He stated that air purifier is only for allergens really then why do they say for dust, dander, smells,. I said it did not do anything whatsoever, even though I thoroughly clean the hardwood floors two days prior. Its still had dust everywhere. I told them I would like a refund they said no they can only offer me a label to that they could repair it and send it back to me or send me a different one. I said I do not want one because they do not work they do not do what you claim. I paid $95 for this one. Amazon sells it for 53. I am not happy about being overcharged or double charge for a piece of junk that doesnt work and I do not want another one. Then he states well then he cannot help me the end of a conversation. So I said well send me the label Ill send it back to you, but I dont want another one. I would like to report his company to the Better Business Bureau theyre based in *****, they have an *************** so people think that theyre American, but they are not and they do not take returns. We would like to address the concerns raised by *************************** regarding the performance of the HoMedics Total Clean Air Purifier, Model AP-T10. **************** contacted our Consumer Relations Representative on May 1, 2023, reporting that the product was not effective in removing dust from her hardwood floor.Our representative explained that the HoMedics Total Clean Air Purifier is designed to remove airborne particles such as allergens, pollen, dust, germs, pet dander, odor, mold spores, and smoke from air that passes through the filter. We regret any confusion or misunderstanding that *** have occurred with regard to the product's capabilities.Furthermore, our representative informed **************** about the terms of the product's warranty, which cover repair or replacement. We would like to remind our customers that any refund requests should be made at the original place of purchase. In ******************** case, she had purchased the product from Bed, ************** where all sales are now final.We are pleased to report that **************** agreed to an exchange, and our representative issued a pre-paid label for the return of the product. Once the product arrives, a replacement will be sent. At HoMedics, we take pride in being a family-run business with our world headquarters located in *****************, ********. Horrible company, will not refund me for a product I never received. They have lied to me and told me to go through my bank to get a refund. I did and they didnt' accept the chargeback. PKE I am a senior citizen in an escalation for refund of my $280.75 from Brookstone/Homedics/FKA DISTRIBUTING CO., LLC with address at ********************************************************************************* escalation was started after they failed to deliver a working NEW BROOKSTONE C5 SHIATSU MASSAGING SEAT TOPPER (Brookstone DIRECT Order ***********). My high regard for Brookstone/Homedics is shattered due to their poor customer service and inability to provide me a replacement.I have made a total of 4 calls and waited on hold for 45 minutes or more each time. After they answer, they immediately put you on hold for daunting hold times. Very poor customer service.This order was placed on 30 December 2021 and today it is 1 February 2022. The resolution seems to be still in review and therefore this escalation.If you plan to purchase Brookstone/Homedics products, please do so with ****** or like where returns and refunds are done straight away. This is in response to the customer review from Pudukkode *******.****************** spoke to a Consumer Relations Representative on January 10, 2022, to exchange a product under the terms of the warranty. A prepaid label was issued to him, and he sent the product on January 11, 2022, under tracking number ********************. Since that time, the package delivery date has been delayed due to weather conditions between ********** and Michigan. ****************** once again spoke to a Consumer Relations Representative on January 24 and February 1, 2022, where both representatives explained that once the package arrived and was processed, a replacement would be sent. On February 1, 2022, ****************** spoke to the floor supervisor where he demanded a refund instead of a replacement. The supervisor honored the request, and our accounting department was notified to process the refund. As you can see, the consumer was provided with a resolution prior to the posting of this escalation. This matter was closed to Mr. ******** satisfaction.Review from ROBERT L

I bought 2 each Drifts as Christmas presents - 1 worked one time and then never again - I was able to get through to customer service and was issued a Fed Ex label for me to return it, the tracking # shows it was received, a week later I reached out to check the status of replacing the product - I tried via phone and was greeted with a message that everyone was busy and try again or email, I emailed and got this - another week goes by and no response from customer service.Now the second product I bought on the same order has failed - plugged it in and nothing happens - still no one answering the phone to even begin a return process and why even bother trying email based on my other experience. I will be reaching out to my credit card company to see what can be done - these were expensive items!HoMEDICS, Inc. Response

On 01.13.2022 I reached out via my work email inquiring about the status of the return of the 1st defective product that was received by Homedics on 01.06.22 according to the tracking # provided and I received this response - Dear Consumer, Thank you for contacting HoMedics Consumer Relations.Representatives are working as quickly as possible to ensure your inquiry will be responded to, in the order they are received. We are here to ensure that your HoMedics product is working to your satisfaction. If you have any questions, please contact us with this case number CAS-******-P0Q9H5?at: ********* https://www.facebook.com/homedics/Support Portal: http://www.homedics.com/instructionbooks/Phone: ************** Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Eastern Time.As of 01.26.22 date I haven't heard from anyone concerning that case #. - I have tried calling numerous times and receive a message telling me that no one is available to take the call.With this I have not been able to talk to anyone about the 2nd defective Drift.It is very concerning that 10 + days have passed since I was provided that case # without hearing from anyone but when I file a complaint I get a response back in 24 hours, at this point I have no faith in this company and would like a full refund on both products.
