In April of 2022 my partner and I received a document taped to our door for renewing our lease at Alpine Slopes. The document attached had our individual address and names on it and offered us either a 10 Month Lease for $1,099.00 or an 11 Month Lease for $1,087.00. This document stated that we could verbally accept the offer and that is what we did. My partner contacted *************************** at the end of April and we discussed the offer and she typed up a new lease. She sent us the lease and we signed. Fast forward to July 1st when our new lease came into effect and we were hit with a rent payment of $1,152.00. I called *********************** and was told she needed to contact her "Operations Manager" and I'd be contacted on Tuesday July 5th. That call never came. I gave her until July 11th and called again with the same result from ***** "I will give our Operations Manager a call and then give you a call back." Once again the call NEVER came. I sent emails asking for additional contacts of who I could talk to to get this issue fixed and once again NO response from *****. I showed ** in person Tuesday July 26th and asked why I had not received a single shred of communication and ***** assured me she'd call me back THAT DAY after talking to her "Operations Manager". Once again NO COMMUNICATION. Finally, my partner calls Friday July 29th and was told by *********************** that "the employees who you resigned with are no longer here, so we can't honor the price you were offered." My partner and I are both graduated from college with Bachelors degrees, he has a Full-Time job and I work three different jobs. We work hard, we have NEVER been late with a rent payment, and we have never had a complaint against us. This might not seem like a lot of money, but we need every cent we can get to simply survive. We can't afford to spend an additional $800 over the next 10 months on rent. We don't want anything special, we just want the rent rate we were offered to be honored by **************.
